The doctor was looking for the ligaments or something. Apparently he could be out for anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months. That's probably what he was just told to say or something.

I guessing it all has to do with how the ligament heals (which is obvious I guess) and what his range of motion will be.
geaux_sioux Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I've always wondered why McDavid has yet to make a hexpad wrist protection sleeve. That could be lucrative for them and a good thing for players. No more worrying about breaking your wrist on a slash or getting gashed by a skate.
