crb1 Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 The girls looked really good and avenged the earlier sweep by the Beavers. They currently have the last spot for home ice in the opening round of the playoffs. Go ladies and keep things rolling. Quote
NoDakFan Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 If they play well enough, they might be able to sneak into the playoffs without having to win the WCHA tournament. It'll be incredibly hard, but theyre 4 spots out, with a series against Duluth and Minny left. If they can somehow pull out 3 wins, or 2 and a tie they have a good shot, but it'll be incredibly difficult. They are getting hot here. Hope they can keep it up. Quote
GDPritch Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Did anyone notice that Idalski tweeted a pic from the bench during the game. That's a little weird.bang--Agree, that does seem very odd. Kind of hard to coach and be 100% into a game when you're Tweeting I would think? Quote

A couple of posts later someone said that players who aren't dressed handle the Twitter account during the game. The coach isn't Tweeting and coaching at the same time. 1 Quote

Thought we settled this. He has one of the nonparticipating players (back up goalie in some cases, or nondressed players) control his Twittter during games. Not very weird at all. Quote

NoDakFan Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 Nah, it was Chipman. You can tell because in the picture of sharing the sandwich, you can see goalie gear at the bottom of the picture. If it's on the bench, its usually either Chipman or Shaw, and off either Karvinen or Tupa. That being said, is there no NCAA regulations as to stuff like this? Quote
crb1 Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 It is indeed the backup goalie tweeting. Chipman is usually the one. If you are at the game you can clearly see her sitting on a chair tweeting. Quote
Goon Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 I thought UND played some of it's best hockey that I have seen in a while. I was very impressed with their composure and push back. The only thing that I think they need to improve on is puck possession. They need to tidy that up against the Gophers. I posted the Menke shorthanded goal on line. Quote
JohnboyND7 Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Holy moly. Uhh my friend who went to school in grand forks told me to look up Tanja Eisenschmid. Babe. Quote
WiSioux Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Let's not go there... Who is going to the game against the Gophers tonight??? $1 tickets! Quote
