mizzou/sioux Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Is this the first win ever for UND over a Southeastern Conference school in any sport? Congrats ladies on a superb showing. Quote

cberkas Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Nice to get a win over a "Power 5" school, but Mississippi State is last in the SEC with a 4-8 record. Edit: It was 4-7 before UND beat Mississippi State. Quote

SiouxVolley Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 South Dakota beat Arkansas last week. Were back up on Massey. G Washington and Auburn have been losing, so that hasn't helped much. Tomorrow's game against Pacific is huge. http://www.masseyratings.com/team.php?t=5538&s=265415 Quote

darell1976 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Correction from Twitter: @UNDvolleyball: Correcting earlier tweet, UND has three wins over power conference schools this season. 1st-ever over an SEC school. Quote
SiouxVolley Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Ole Miss is 11-0 and was picked 10th in the SEC, while Florida is 5-2, Kentucky is 9-2, Mizzou is 8-4, and LSU is 2-4. The top of the SEC is good: Florida, Kentucky, and A&M are battling for top 20 spots. They play hard core schedules. Arkansas, Miss St, and Tennessee would be struggling in the Slummit. But with the inherent advantages a P5 team has, any P5 win is nice. Quote

darell1976 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 UND up 1 game to zero against Miss Valley State. UND 12 MVSU 5 2nd set Quote
mizzou/sioux Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 It appears one can hear a play-by-play audio broadcast of the UND-Pacific volleyball action this afternoon by going to the Pacific website.and accessing the audio site there. Quote
SiouxVolley Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Husfeldt, Hart, and Dooley didn't play in the MVSU game to keep them fresh for Pacific. Pioske just had time to loosen up a bit. Griffin was in full time as the setter, and Kaczorowska, Robinson, Zietek, and Moser did most of the attack game. Quote
Dustin Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 TO UND. SIoux had a 21-14 lead, but cut to 22-19, I believe. Quote
