cberkas Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Tampa Bay taking a page out of Gwozdeky's playbook pulling the goalie with 5 minutes left. Quote
siouxweet Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 so much for the coming out and playing with desperation attitude from the blackhawks. a mind numbing 6 shots that period. whew. I hope they didn't tire themselves out too early. ducks have to be jumping for joy after weathering that storm. Quote

sioux rube Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Crazy stat. When Hossa scores in the playoffs the Hawks are 14-0. Quote

Speez Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 GO HAWKS!!! Can't score but still won 5-2. Don't count them out. Fat Lady's not sure what to do yet, but she's rooting for the Hawks. GO HAWKS!!! Quote

farce poobah Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Anaheim looked tired during the last two periods. Their top forward lines have logged a lot more ice time than Chicago.... * Getzlaf has logged 149 minutes so far, 10 more than any of Chicago's forwards. * Meanwhile, Chicago's bottom 6 forwards have taken 60 minutes more than Anaheim's bottom 6. Anaheim's hitting is way down ... Another sign of tired legs. For example in Game 6: Kane took 0 hits from Anaheim. Hossa wasn't hit. Toews took just 1. Keith 3, Seabrook 2. Bottom line, the extra day of rest may neutralize this - but it seems to me that Anaheim is showing signs of wear more than Chicago. Quote
Ray77 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Stoner makes it 3-2. Surprised nobody commented about this, but Stoner's goal should not have counted due to goalie interference by Silfverberg. As Crawford put his glove up to catch the puck, Silfverberg ran into his glove, moving it so he couldn't catch the puck. I'm not sure why they didn't review that. Or why Crawford didn't make a bigger deal about it. He yelled a bit to the the after the goal, but I'd have thought he would have gone apeshit after that to make his point. Quote

What was ironic about it was the Hawks got called for goalie interference a minute later. Quote
