2014-2015 NHL Season

There have been a lot of guys who have been pretty useless this series for the Wild and a most of them are the highest paid guys. Pomminville, Vanek, Koivu, and Suter have been some of the most notable guys struggling.

Before tonight's game, Koivu was a -12 against Chicago in the last three playoff series'. Zach Parise was a -11.

Just sayin'...

Wild just never looked capable of putting together a complete performance and playing at a high level consistently in this series. Hawks were the better team really taking advantage of Wild giveaways all series and were much better finishing on their chances.

At no time...not even a second...did the Wild have a lead in this series. With Dubs playing like Crawford from round 1 this was a total mismatch. Wild desperately need a top line center...Koivu isn't it. But with Suter so grossly overpaid there is zero money to go get a true top line guy. Now I can cheer for my 2nd favorite team...Go Hawks!

That is all that needs to be said.

Quinnville licks his chops anytime he can throw #19's line up again Zach's.

Looks like a lot of Wild Fans gave up on the series and sold their tickets to Blackhawk fans for this game.

Makes sense that they were being scalped for $250 a pop outside the arena - lots of red and white in that building last night.

...and when things aren't going well we see that Matt Cooke is no better than Steve Ott.  Cross checked and slashed Hossa, and once again stuck his leg out on Hjarlmasson.  Wonder if they will still look at that hit for a suspension since Hjarlmasson came back to play.

Boy, isn't that the truth? That sequence with Hossa was ridiculous.

Is there a reason why teams and/or the NHL keep this guy in the league?
