If the puck didn't cross the goal line, then it was a skater who covered the puck, in the crease, to cause the whistle. Since he was in the crease, it should be ruled a goal.

Sounds like he is watching the game through the bottom of a beer glass.

I always thought that if a player covers the puck in the crease its a penalty shot or at least a penalty? Or is it just in hs or the nhl? I cant remember what league but I know I have heard of that before.

You're absolutely right. It should have been a penalty shot (or they might have even been able to award a goal because it essentially happened IN the net).

Miami is virtually dragging Sioux players down going to the net on a rush, no calls. 6 goals scored, 4 count, Miami's goal scored on a blatant INT. You couldn't attempt to screw up a game more than Shep and partner have.

Simply put the first 15 minutes were a can of whoop #%&!

Been awhile since a first period started like that in this building.

So let me get this right...Mac goes hard to the net. Gets cross checked. The cross check carries him into the goalie as he scores and he gets the penalty and no goal! Did I miss anything???
