Blackheart Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 A bigger crowed today for the Badgers-Penn State game. That wouldn't take much. Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Meanwhile, over in St Paul, a lively Badger crowd is cheering on the Badgers...the X is a sea of red! Quote

InHeavenThereIsNoBeer Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I agree he has tremendous work ethic, skills, etc., and he hasn't been awful. I just can't figure out why he hasn't had more of a points impact. I don't know if its incompatible linemates, systems, bad luck or whatever, but, I did think his impact would have been more significant. Hope it starts this weekend. Although Rocco has produced to the astronomical potential I think he has, he's one guy that absolutely never quits. I've never seen Rocco take a shift off and that alone makes me respect his game. He might get frustrated but it seems to only drive him more to work his butt off, love watching him play. Quote
yzerman19 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Explosive to me means the potential to turn nothing into something. Rocco can do that- he just hasn't had a lot of finishes... I think his linemates and the system both play against Rocco's style of creativity and passes out of nowhere. He is fast and skilled. He can turn a mistake into a breakaway...he needs to bury those breakaways 1 Quote
farce poobah Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I know it would stick an autobid in front of UND's tournament hopes, but I'm really hoping for a Penn State vs Ohio State final tomorrow night. Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Badgers take the lead 2-1 I dozed off watching this one...what a snooze-fest! Quote
sagard Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I'll be shocked if either tourney in the cities has any buzz. It would be nice if they did one rink, both tourneys. Tons of hockey. Lot's more fans. Quote
cberkas Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I dozed off watching this one...what a snooze-fest! Penn State had some chances right before the Badgers goal. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I dozed off watching this one...what a snooze-fest! About as uninspired as it gets. Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Jersey watch - I liked Mankato's old-school whites and for some reason, the Cleveland Browns jerseys that Bowling Green wears grew on me - I like 'em! Quote
UND-RedSox fan Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I really liked both jerseys in the Mankato/BGSU game. Probably because you don't see those colors very often. I usually like red/white and red/black combos but it seems like half the teams in college hockey have those colors and it gets tiresome. Quote
TheEagle Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Union is up 2-0 on Cornell If the scores hold up, it would be big. It would seem we would only need two of the three scenarios to get in with one win. 1. Colgate losing to Providence (~50% probability) 2. Ohio State not winning the Big Ten (~75% probability; more considering who they'd play, Minnesota and Wisconsin) 3. New Hampshire not winning Hockey East (~75% probability) Quote
