brianvf Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 do any questions need to be asked? Fire Idelskiee? Extend Hakcstole? Have Hakcstole coach both men's and women's teams? Quote
NDHockey Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Looks like they're going to have to win the conference tournament when the Olympians get back. Tough task, but they are the only team in the nation to beat Minnesota when their full team is intact. The problem is they will have to face Wisconsin in the semi-finals before they would even face Minnesota. That's going to be a tall task to beat the #2 team in the country and then try to beat the #1 team the next day. This club is in deep trouble after the egg they laid this weekend. Quote
Rory Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 After losing to Ohio St last night they now must win the WCHA tourney to get in. Not good. Quote
Feff Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Just not nearly the same team without the Olympians. This is hard to watch after the promising start of the season. Quote
UND92,96 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Ohio St. finished the sweep today, 3-1. Quote
brianvf Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Much like Miami last weekend, it appears the ladies have given up on their season. Only way into the tourney now is to win the tourney and having to beat UMN in the process. Quote
MafiaMan Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Ohio St. finished the sweep today, 3-1. Ouch. Quote
Five-HoleFrenzy Posted February 23, 2014 Posted February 23, 2014 Can UND win the WCHA tournament?. Simple answer is yes but playing the way they are right now it doesn't look good. Might like their chances a little bit better if they beat BSU and had to face Minnesota first instead of Wisconsin. Quote

MafiaMan Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 4-1 win over BSU to start the WCHA playoffs. Good start. Keep it up, ladies! Quote
Wilbur Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Ladies win in OT. Head to the final five or whatever they call it with the women. Wisconsin lost to Mankato. Game three for that series tomorrow. Quote

talksalot83 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Big enough for me to cheer for the Purple Cows today even though they swept our ladies at home two weekends ago... which I'm still pressed about. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 How big would a Mankato win be today? I'm giving Mankato zero chance to beat Wisconsin today. They gave up fifty something shots and their goaltender played the game of her life to give Kato the win. UND's path if they keep winning: ~Wisconsin ~Minnesota ~Minnesota Quote

MafiaMan Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Good things come in fours... Apparently just threes. 2-0 Wisconsin, final. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Apparently just threes. 2-0 Wisconsin, final. Mankato won their Stanley Cup on Saturday night. Unfortunately they were required to play a third game in the series. Although the shots weren't nearly as bad as Saturday. Quote
WiSioux Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 UND up 1-0 on WI very late in the game... Is this one and done? Quote
