fargosioux Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 While this weekend's series will be fun to watch, in the grand scheme of things, it won't have much bearing on the NCAA tournament. Both teams should easily make the tournament this year. One thing to note, there is no regional in the Twin Cities this season. On that note, UMTC hasn't won a regional outside of the Twin Cities in 11 years. Their record is 0-4 in "road" regionals during that time. I also predict two major penalties called on UND. One legit, one not. I also predict jaw flapping by the maroon squad with no intention to back it up. I also predict DS will be officiating, and will tick off both fan bases at some point. (granted - these last predictions are like shooting fish in a barrel) God I hate gopher hockey. Crush 'em Sioux!
