AZSIOUX Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Hope we get to see Mitch Mcmillin and Parks this coming weekend. One last important non conference series for UND. The Crusaders who currently to this day sit at #19 in the pairwise with a overall record of 10-4-2 and tied for 2nd in the AHA Quote
siouxweet Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 this is gonna be a more difficult series than people think. I still think we get hard worked sweep though. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted December 31, 2012 Author Posted December 31, 2012 Holy cross hasn't played any team noteworthy. Their schedule up to this weekend may be one of the softest in the nation. Don't take them lightly of course and get that first home stick salute. 1 Quote
siouxweet Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 they did just beat yale who went out to colorado a month ago and had a pretty good showing. Quote
Wilbur Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Holy Cross has had their fair share of success at the Ralph..... There, someone posted it....everyone was thinking of it.....now all we need is a Minnesota fan to come in and post something about living in the past, etc. 3 Quote

DLW4GOPHERS Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I am just surprised you guys knew who to cheer for. I know how big of fans you are of Holy Cross. Quote
Wilbur Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I am just surprised you guys knew who to cheer for. I know how big of fans you are of Holy Cross. Just like Minnesota fans knew to cheer for Ferris State when UND was at the mooch a few years earlier. To think, fans cheer against their rival team even when they're not playing their team.....weird..... 1 Quote
brianvf Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 To think, fans cheer against their rival team even when they're not playing their team.....weird..... It's such a simple concept, one would think even Gopher fans would understand it. 1 Quote
Siouxman Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 At the Final Five, if the Gophers are in the tournament and if the Gopher fans show up, they cheer for anyone playing against UND. I know, I know, some big ifs in there. 2 Quote
siouxczech29 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I wonder what the lines will look like Friday night? Quote

Emerald joker Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I want to see if Mitch and Mark have good chemistry together! Excited to see you in a Sioux jersey Mitch! Quote
Sodbuster Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 This break has been too long That's for sure...... Quote
MissSioux85 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Via Dan Hammer on twitter From practice today. Parks with Knight and Kristo. Mark Mac centering brother Mitch and O'Donnell. Rowney centering Gaarder and Caggiula. Quote
siouxczech29 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 that would be great if mitch, mark, and OD get some of that BCHL magic going! Quote
sprig Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Suprising though, given that Mark has been a good addition to the Knight/Kristo combo; with Rocco gone, there's got to be some shuffling anyway. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 Those 3 put up monster numbers together at bchl! Who knows but great to get parks back! When Rocco gets back and parks now in there along with Mitch there will be guys sitting who may haven't been this year. Good problem to have. Sweep HC back to the east coast Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 Via Dan Hammer on twitter Was everyone at practice firing 1 timers?!? Lol. Someone has had to bring that up to him. He knows his hockey but his hockey lingo is embarrassing when he uses 1 timer like he does on wrist shots and passes. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Colton has been too good so far to sit IMO so my guess is he is on 4th line with the General and either Rodwell or Jim. ODonnell needs to step up! If Parks can play more than a period, he will be a nightmare for Holy Cross on the boards and down low when teamed with Knight and Kristo. When Rocco returns, I see him with Carter and Drake if the Mac boys and OD can produce. That would leave a 4th line of Colton, the General and Gaarder...not too bad. Quote

Oxbow6 Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 U mean Colton the General and Rodwell Ummmm...did I stutter??? Gaarder IMO does more on both ends of the ice than Rodwell. Rodwell passes the classic "eye test" but really has not lived up to his billing so far at UND. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 My 4th line when adding parks , rocco and mitch would be Rodwell / st clair / pattyn Gaarder has been a nice player no doubt. I'm not saying he should sit but somebody has to Panz over Gleason on the blue line Wonder if we see gothberg this weekend. Quote
