talksalot83 Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Now I have to eat my words because Michigan finally scores. Quote
Washburn Sioux Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I agree there were some weak calls on Cornell. Are the refs on the take, Big 10 payoff? Quote
Eggs412 Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Half of my frozen four is now out of the tournament... I don't care at all right now. Quote
zonadub Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Wow! Denver, Michigan State, Miami & Michigan all lose in the first round! Tough day for the big(ger) name teams. Quote
talksalot83 Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 My bracket , but the consolation is watching Michigan lose. Quote
sagard Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 One of Ferris, Lowell, Union or Cornell will play for the big trophy. Quote
GFG Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 B1G and NCHC both 0-2 today. We're looking solid. Lol Quote
talksalot83 Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 B1G and NCHC both 0-2 today. We're looking solid. Lol Optimism, I like it! Let's blame the refs. Quote
minnysioux Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 My bracket , but the consolation is watching Michigan lose. Yea, I didn't pick one right today. I hope I get ONE right tomorrow (our game). Go AF! Quote
Wilbur Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I'm a former goalie, know the pain of losing in OT.....But kinda glad that Hunwick felt the pain after that crap he pulled against the Sioux at the X last year. Mr. Sagaard said it best......Union...Lowell....Ferris....Cornell.....in the national championship. The only player on any of those teams I could name before the year started was the goalie from Cornell and maybe the Union goalie. Quote
Washburn Sioux Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 It is very tough to pick the upsets. Last year I had the lowest score of anybody, so far I'm 3 out of 4, hoping for better on Saturday. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 One of Ferris, Lowell, Union or Cornell will play for the big trophy. That's messed up. What will tomorrow bring!? Quote

After the game finished he took the winning puck and gave it to the Cornell player that scored the winning goal Quote
UND83 Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 so far the eastern-most team has won. hope that trend changes with the Sioux Quote
CMSioux Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Couple of thoughts - It's been said but teams gotta realize the national championship is won one game at a time- The table is set for a team to come from out of nowhere to win this thing -it might as well be THE SIOUX! 1 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 Seeing Michigan get rope-a-doped by Cornell the same way Michigan rope-a-doped UND last year made me smirk. The look on Red's face after the game? Priceless. 2 Quote
Dave Berger Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 BC up 1-0 over Air Force late in the first period. And my goodness, those are not nice-looking alternate home jerseys for the Eagles. Dave Quote
