So now it's just two of the dak4, plus you, talking Slummit football.   How about some links to those conversations.  I'll hangup and wait.

might be news to you that 2 summit league and 2 mvfc members think that a cusa, mwc, aac, or heck a pac12 phone call is coming any day.......when they realize it isn't they might be a little more vocal about the future of the summit ...with or without football

more recognizable than the "summit"

sounds better too

Not recognized for quality these days. Summit League is fine and if it had had the cachet of football for the past decade would arguably be a viable mid major. MVC has benefited greatly with its schools contributing not a lot to the football prominence.

Aren’t we under investigation too

Are you talking about the soccer coach or the DEI program?

Not sure were to put this but:

https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/akron-handed-2025-bowl-ban-zips-flunk-out-of-postseason-after-failing-to-meet-ncaa-academic-standards/amp/

Missouri St (ex MVFC ),  Murray State (new member) and Utah Tech (potential member) all hit with reduced practice time.

Akron was one of only three football programs to hit a multi-year APR rate low enough to miss the postseaso across all of Division I. Mississippi Valley State and UAPB in the FCS ranks will also be ineligible for postseason play. Florida A&M, Missouri State, Murray State and Utah Tech all received practice time reductions for low APR rates.

I sure hope UND never has this problem.

The WAC name had cachet in its day. If the Summit took on the WAC name with the Texas schools and started football, the WAC would have swagger again.

go for 16 fenton....maybe if bsc adds the two Utah jucos the top of the league will finally be willing to "move up"

add 4 bsc

Montana MSU, Weber, and Idaho

Add acu, TSU, and drake

10 football with 12 if drake and St Thomas wanna move from pioneer to WAC football

2 time zones....

4 pods of 4

North-und, ndac, USD, sdac

Central-St Thomas, drake, Omaha, and kc

West-Montana, MSU, Idaho, weber state

South-acu, TSU, oral Roberts, denver

return of the WC Fenton?
