This brings back some good memories - thanks for sharing! As a kid, I remember those District 29, 30, 31, 32 tournaments at Scott Gymnasium on the campus of Dickinson State. I used to attend basketball camps all the time with the Schmitz boys from Golva - Jeremy and Jason. You couldn't help but cheer for those guys. I think you mean the town of Flasher, which is the Bulldogs. The University of North Dakota Storm Kings...I like it. I would be traumatized by such a nickname...heck, I break out in a cold sweat just driving by the Simplot plant. It's a good suggestion, but I think it'll be shot down by the nickname committee.
