Wow - that sure appeared out of no where! But it is good to see that he had a couple other legitimate offers.

Now the recruiting evaluation service to the south can rest easy. Nice find Hambone.

This may have already been discussed but it appears Dustin Adams, the big OL from Minot, has withdrawn his commitment to Hawaii. I assume we are back talking to him. Anyone heard anything about this?

I have heard that he has committed to Northern Illinois now.

It appears that UND has an offer out to a LB from Nevada that was on our interest list.

LB Jared Tuiliagi Henderson, NevadaLiberty 6'1" 217 4.8

I've had my eye on him for a bit, and think he would be a great addition. Has offers from San Diego and Texas Southern.

Scout also has him with the same offers, but he is listed at 6'4" 220 lb TE.

To update on Tuilagi, he is visiting this weekend per rivals. He visited San Diego last weekend and it appears he will be visiting Texas Southern after signing day, so unless UND can get a commitment over his visit we might not know about this one until after signing day. Hopefully UND can land this kid.

I hope we could win a recruiting battle with TSU, it's a dump and in a bad area of Houston.

On a very positive note, this kid has a 3.6 GPA and a 1400 SAT. So, he would be automatically eligible for some level of UND academic scholarship.

Can/do the coaches bundle athletic/academic when it warrants to free up dollars?

It's hard to believe UND only has one commitment from the Twin Cities metro area (Rich). I have to think there will be at least one or two more when all is said and done.

Kill and the Gophers have done a great job of getting the local talent on scholarships and walk on's. Also the MAC have come in strong in MN.

There will be more. I feel it.

So, out of what's left out there, who are some kids that you hope come to UND? I've included kids that we have offers to, kids that are on our interest lists, and kids from MN (since I've been able to see some of them). Don't know if some of the MN kids are committed somewhere else, so included some of them anyway. Mine are:

RB Antonio Ford

RB Sam Sura

OL Sam Lee

OL Stephen Arnold

OL Ryan Glasgow

OL Evan Aaron

OL Nick Carr

OL Ryan Dahl

OL/TE Landon Lechler

DE Justin Arp

DE Kit Snyder

LB Bennett Goff

LB Tyler Fahey

LB Jared Tuilagi

LB Ben McDonald

LB Brandon Larson

DB Adam Bungum

DB LaRon Tarkington

DB Charles Webb

DB Anthony Hill

Ath Matt Arends

Ath Michael Roane

Actually, the more I think about it, there are a lot of MN kids that I hope get walk on offers. There seems to be some decent OL talent this year. Anyway, the list got longer than I anticipated, but names kept popping into my head. For some of the MN kids, you can see some video of them in the following link.

I wish kickers would use a snapper in those videos. It would:

- give snap-spot action instead of a steady-hold target (how adjustable is he en route)

- give a reference to how flat (blockable) the FG tries are coming off the foot

What about this guy...

Pretty average leg strength. Looks awkward when he kicks. He doesn't bend his knee which is very weird and slow. And why would he kick off of a tee if he wants to kick in college?
