SiouxMD
GAME NOTES - www.fightingsioux.com 06 Southern Oregon 45 UND UND will make Southern Oregon suffer because of Sioux Falls. It isn't fair. It isn't right. But it will happen. GO SIOUX
Feff
That's the outcome I'm hoping for as well. The team needs the same fire/intensity brought to every game like they did against Cal-Poly
Witt
....another NAIA team for the Sioux, but this isn't USF....by any means. Southern Oregon is an independent team in the NAIA, without a conference. As a result of that, they play a combo of teams....NAIA, D2, etc. Here is some brief info about them from the old VSN site.. http://football.victorysportsnetwork.com/t...hp?schoolID=134 They aren't a playoff team at the NAIA level..but I would say they are about even with the better DAC teams from up in ND. As a close NAIA follower, I think UND should win this game comfortably....I'd be shocked if it was less than a 14 point game...probably more like 24-28 point difference in this one..once the smoke clears. USD beat them last year 37-0.
RD17
As skeptical as I was coming into the USF game, this game will be completely different. SOU has an OK defense and a decent running back, but they cannot throw the ball at all (their two quarterbacks have a combined pass efficiency rating of about 82, which is awful). With UND getting healthy again, they will bury SOU.
GoAgs72
Sometimes it's not the quality of the opponent, but whether you're mentally prepared with this game being sandwiched between Cal Poly and UC Davis. We overlooked Western Washington a few years ago and lost at home.

We overlooked Western Washington a few years ago and lost at home. I don't think the coaching staff will have much trouble getting the player's attention after what happened against USF. This is also the last home game for the seniors which will add motivation. Also, this SOU team isn't nearly as talented as the WWU team that knocked off UCD a few years ago. GeauxSioux
Is it just me or does the Southern Oregon logo on the SS.com front page look like a witch riding a broom? It would have been better to have them in for Halloween.
The Sicatoka
I guess we'll see what the team learned about showing up for every game.

UND1983
I will be at the game, drinking some beers and enjoying the last home game of the year! I want to see a complete game, dominating for 4 quarters with the backups getting some reps at the end. UND 45 SO
