MissSioux85 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Miami up 1-0 on a SHG. EDIT: Goal waived off, still 1-0 Miami. Quote
YaneA Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Didn't Midcontinent in GF used to have ESPN Classic? Thought I remembered watching it. Quote
brianvf Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 UMD goal. Fontaine was in the crease, but they will count it regardless. Quote
Shawn-O Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 UMD goal. Fontaine was in the crease, but they will count it regardless. No goal. Quote
If only we had Belfour Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 I'm not sure why the link isn't working for you. The Duluth/Miami game is on right now while they wait for the 2nd OT between Vermont and Air Force. I just figured out that it was my antivirus software blocking it. Your comment triggered something in my mind so thank you Cutter I have ESPN classic so thank you as well I have it on the big screen Quote
Washburn Sioux Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 That should have been a goal, he did not interfere with the goalie. Quote
brianvf Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 The AF/VT game is beginning to look like a 7OT lacrosse game. Quote
redwing77 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 UMD putting on a clinic when it comes to pathetic PP units. Seriously... 5 on 3 for over a minute and I'm not sure Knapp made more than 1 save (nor did he have to as most attempts went wide or were blocked). 3 Miami Redtards outplayed 5 Bulldogs. Mercier scored shorthanded and on the powerplay. Seriously, the bulldogs need 5 on 5 hockey. If they're down a man, they're in trouble. If they are up by a man, they are in trouble, and if they are up by 2 players, they become incompetant. Quote
kfah1 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Did some one say that Anderson from the WCHA is reffing the AFA/VT game? They've been reviewing a video for a possible VT goal for the last 10+ minutes... Quote
brianvf Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 About a 10min review going on in the VT/AF game. A possible VT goal that went through the net? Quote
kfah1 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Would be a terrible way to lose the game after a 10+ minute review... Quote
If only we had Belfour Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 this is actually a tough call to make, WOW weird Quote
kfah1 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Incredibly enough, it looks like that may have been the right call. Frickin' amazing... Quote
YaneA Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 No way that replay is conclusive! Leave it to WCHA refs to decide a game in this ridiculous fashion. Poor Air Force. They just got hosed!! Quote

What is the standard if it's inconclusive? A no goal? I really would've like to have seen AFA go... but go figure... WCHA refs... Quote
brianvf Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 "He put it right in my wheelhaaaus." It annoys me that the VT coach wears the headset during the games... Quote

Isn't it that it requires conclusive replay evidence to overturn call by on-ice official? The on-ice call was no call, thus no goal at the time Quote
cutter Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 They made the right call. It isn't Vermont's fault the net gave way. The only place that puck went was through the net. Quote
Wookie#12 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 So if UMD falls tonight, and if BSU wins tomorrow to go to the Frozen Four. Will that speed up the process to grant the Beavers WCHA status? Quote
