F. Myers isn't a bad place to play. I have heard him interviewed and he loves it there. Maybe he subconsciously wants to stay there because when ever he is in the AHL his save percentage dips by about about .4 to .5 and his goals against goes up about a goal or more.

Only so many spots for a team’s goalie prospects. I have no clue what Florida’s situation is but I’d guess that Florida has some prospects that need to season in the AHL so at this point in Cam’s career he’s not exactly a priority over them.

He has a history that the NHL clubs operating AHL teams don't really tolerate. Add in that he's sucked in any AHL games he's played and he'll never get higher than the ECHL.

He could have gone to Europe for more money but again, he's got a reputation that other teams don't want to bring in.
