dagies
and maybe 1 more that couldnt go against his moms wish cant wait to hear on the others besides knight!! Sounded to me like that was the one who called later and committed. I think there's one unaccounted for.
mikejm
Jackson was pretty coy about the whole deal. It sounded to me like they didn't mind so much that the fourth one got away.

mikejm
Yeah. I tried to grab Jackson after the luncheon but he scooted out of there pretty fast.

yzerman19
Jeremy Morin maybe? Rumor has it that UND was a possible choice for him, although he is going to be in a Toews situation with Canadian Major Junior beating down his door...I hope the success of Toews and Parise at the NHL level after two years at UND might influence him... yzerman19
I'm pretty certain he is headed for Kitchener too, but a guy can hope...Had he been in GF this past weekend, we might've wooed him.
USA Hockey
Dane said at Fargo Sioux Boosters that they had four kids in last weekend for visits. Two verballed on the spot, one went home and called back to verbal. He, obviously, didn't say who. He said Cary and Hak asked why the kid who left without committing didn't verbal while in Grand Forks. Jackson said the kid promised his mother he wouldn't commit without talking to her. I knew of one other recruit that visited besides Knight. I won't post anything unless I get an official confirmation because maybe he was the kid that needed to talk to his mom. Quick! Someone go get Dane to take some of whatever that stuff is that makes people tell the truth (I thought it was Sodium Pentathol, but I may be confusing it with a poison)! (just kidding... don't anyone dare!)

(just kidding... don't anyone dare!) I'm not even sure you could use the word official and verbal together because official would be more like a binding thing such as a letter of intent whereas a verbal is more like a mutual agreement between party A(coach) and party B(player). They are officialy committed when they sign a LOI and mail it into the university.

mikejm
IIRC coaches can't comment at all on a recruit, nor one who has "verballed". Only after a national letter of intent is signed can official comments be made.

As a person in the media, I'm sure there are various sources of information you can find outside of the coaches. Word gets around.
