So does anyone think swimming and diving will get cut? Summit sponsor those sports? If not they are a no brained to cut. Quit wasting money on unpopular sports and start focusing on academics.

Screw Duluth, they cost us not only the last game against BU by taking out Tucker, but also a NCHC title with their dirty play. I'm pissed I rooted for them in the past and will never again in the future. Go Denver! I despise them because they are good and have a ton of talent. Their coach is a class act and fans are god people. I wish them the best the rest of the way!

Anyone experience some especially big dick head bulldog fans at the game? I'm under the conspiracy that they were closet gopher fans. Some of them also complained about stealing THEIR beer song. I didnt realize D2 schools were the only ones that could play certain songs...

East coast officials call in favor of our new style of play. Remember we used to be frustrated with the calls when we played a more physical type of mentality. We now are all about controlling the puck first. Do we even really have a true enforcer type of guy?

One bulldog fan said that it was only fair they get got the game winning goal on a 5-3 because we got all of them. I said we also don't play dirty have fun with the east cost refs next weekend. Tomanoto should have been given 2 for yelling at the refs. The linesman had to hold him back he was so bad. They didnt call it and now the rest is history.

Duluth could have been called all night for penalties so the refs had to only call the blatant ones against the dogs. They called all the questionable ones on us to even it up. What a poor showing for the NCHC refs, but too bad nothing will be done about it. the refs next week won't tolerate the holds and interference the dogs were pulling. I wouldn't be surprised if they are one and done

So I saw Dean after Friday's game with his wife and someone said congrats on his retirement. He made a comment back along the lines of if you say so or he wouldn't say so. Was he forced out?

Man I hope future teams have this much heart. To not give up after being down 16 after the first half and to bring the game within 7 half way through the second half against a number 2 ranked team shows the great character of the men on the team. Never gave up and kept it interesting!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but on the yahoo tourney bracket it shows the ND logo and not the fighting hawks logo! Was the hockey team in charge of selecting what logo to use.

The summit championship game looks like a ton of fun! Can't wait for a few years!!! this tourney draws a ton of basketball fans in Sioux Falls (at least for last night) so why couldn't we host a hockey regional there???

Obviously there are a ton of bars around but I do like the aspect of there being a Sioux fan gathering. I just want to find a Sioux gathering that is less crowded.

We will be making the annual trip again after the last few years. I really do hope they actually make the tourney or we won't be buying tickets to that dump of an arena to watch non-Sioux hockey. We have been able to explore the downtown area much more after the past years disappointments. I'm hoping this year they play to win it because they may need to win it to stay alive. That could have the potential for some great hockey! i do really wish there was a bar not as packed as the pourhouse. I don't like to wait 10 min for a new beer and I need to get primed for the game because $9 beers don't happen with my wallet!

So how important was the Bison OC to heir success? Will one of the assistants be able to follow the same philosophy and skip any learning curve?

We need to continue earning respect like this by proving it on the field. The fall can't come soon enough!
