You seriously didn’t think we were going to win did you? Whether we lost by 14 or 40 we still played a decent game against a top FBS team. Yeah I wish we would have kept it close but nothing by positive things coming out of this game.

I was one of the biggest skeptics going into this game and I got to say I was quite impressed. We kept their number one offense in the game through 4 quarters. That’s pretty impressive that we were that successful against a top FBS team. Granted our offense couldn’t move the ball but our defense did a great job not allowing many points before the half. Take away some of our costly mistakes and the game would have been even closer longer. I hope injuries didn’t hurt us because next weekend is critical to our season and reputation.

I wouldn’t say Rudy has been so bad this season. Big test is coming up against Sam H.

I don’t know why having the expectation that we will lose is so bad. We mock moo u fans for saying “bring on Bama” when we know how big of a beat down that would be. This game is almost on the Bring on Bama level. We all hope we can keep it close but we all know no matter what the rest of the season is what is important. You would think with the fan’s low expectations the players would feel less pressure and be able to go into the game and just worry about having fun and taking in the moment. Bubba is not setting the expectation to win and more like to compete with their full effort on every play.

Yet USD chokes and still gets moved up into the top 25..... but? But? They are MVFC

Did anyone see that UC Davis took down FBS SJSU last Thursday? Will they be a contender in the big sky?

Absolutely not. Chances are they will take out there anger on us and try to run it up to 60-70 points

Why wait til the mid 4th? What do you consider a blowout? Down by 30, 40, or 50+? If we are down by over 30 after the half we need to consider keeping our starters healthy. There are bigger fish to fry than keeping a blowout under a 30-40 Point spread.

Washington is not a winnable game. They are not a G5 team. The are not a bottom feeder P5 team. They are a legit FBS bowl game contender that was ranked in the top ten. You cannot compare Washington to any of those teams on that list. I hope we can still compete against their 2 and 3rd string players but at what point do we get our backups in the game to get just as important experience?

We need to pull our starters after the first half if we can’t keep it close. No need to get all beat up for a meaningless game. We need to stay healthy for Sammy because that game is critical for the rest of the season.

The more football I watch the more I am giving our defense a pass for a poor first quarter. It’s tough to know what an offense is going to come out with to start the year. Are they going to run a similar offense or is the new coaching going to change it up completely. I have a feeling that this will not be a common theme going forward this year as we play team with more and more film. I can’t wait for Sammy.

Thursday game is tough for people out of town that don’t want to take two days off of work or make it some long days.

293 rush 225 passing, we should have had over 400 passing if not for the dropped balls. Our QB can easily bring up our passing to over take the rushing if needed

JJ just got his nuts and knee stepped on in front of the camera on purpose. He deserved that TD.
