That pipeline may be under the "gathering" classification and may not have any of the strict requirements that the oil transmission lines have. If you read the story you can see there is a long record of noncompliance and they have had multiple incidents. I wouldn't trust that operator any day if they Wanted to build across the Missouri. Their track record gives the whole industry a bad name even though companies like this are very rare. You need to hold the government officials accountable if you want companies like this to clean up their act. I would be surprised if PHMSA shuts this line down for awhile until the integrity can be verified.

They never would have kicked it off to Santiago anyways. You guys are assuming they would do a normal kickoff. Any last resort play would have been a long shot. We needed to make a play before the game winning kick. Some of our fans need to realize this won't be the last time UND will be in the playoffs. This won't be the last chance especially with a veteran experienced team.

Missed field goal. That's your ball game. zero defensive turnovers. That's your ball game. we just couldn't catch a break once they go the momentum. This would have hurt more if we were expected to win it all.

Some of our fans need to realize just because we lost our first FCS playoff loss doesn't mean we won't be back again or that we won't win playoff games in the future. This team will be better.

Like I said before this team is no where nearly as good as they could be. We would all have a different attitude if Richmond has put up a better effort the entire game and showed they actually deserve to win. We got to be patient. We need to drop these boom or bust expectations.

The years to come look really good. This team was not good enough to win it all this year anyways and this game will be a great learning experience. Too bad we couldn't play two playoff games this year. This team will now have another chip on their back to motivate them next year. This wasn't the best team UND will have in the future as this team is young and has a ton of potential. i think the missing link that may have helped us was the lack of defensive turnovers. Those really made a difference in the past games. I'm still proud of this team for a great season!

Did you guys read that article on attendance. This may be the biggest game in our DI history but attendance during the playoffs has not been the greatest in the pat even in late round playoff games. If we get 9k that would say a lot for the new kid on the block team in its first playoff run. We just got to keep improving and the fans will show up.

Well that would be the event if the century for the state of ND but I don't think this year will be it. I really hope I am proven wrong. If they play solid football all 4 quarters anything can happen. I just really hope we can win on Saturday. This young team has a ton of potential and a playoff win would do so much for the confidence of the program.

I know a ton of people going to NYC that would otherwise be at this game. The NYC game is not an ordinary away game. It's unfortunate that these are the same weekend. We just need to keep hyping up the game to everyone we know so we can keep the alerus loud!

They don't use dirty petroleum products, they get their propane from Walmart. Plus the wood they burn doesn't pollute the air one bit, they call it natural. Keep it in the ground!

NAU is the real deal of a FB team and they have just struck bad luck this year. I would not want to replay them or meet them in the playoffs as their team is one best on both sides of the ball in the Big Sky. If our defense could slow the Bison offense I think we would have a good chance. If they still had Wentz or we had last years defense then it wouldn't be pretty.

I was really happy to see the special teams show up and perform at a high level. It was really good to see this team play well with high stakes on the line and never giving up after being down. If this team plays like they did overall today the playoffs will be fun to watch !

According to Bisonville both DU and Omaha would vote no to let us in the slummit. I'm pretty sure we are in very good company with those two schools. I will miss big sky football if they try to make the move. I like playing western teams in great locations. I guess I can see why playing local can help parents watch our recruits but we can easily become one of the top contenders every year in the big sky and make our own name for ourselves

So what's the joke? I'm kinda slow. Am I offended? Not personally. Do I think it is offensive to a certain culture? Absolutely. Am I surprised? No. At this point I'm more worried about clinching a Big Sky title and winning our first playoff game with a young talented team that has worked thier butts off this year and has had to overcome many key players going down with injuries. Do I think we will make a deep run this year? Maybe, but I can tell you more than anything I can't wait to see this team play these next 4 years. We should be able to bring UND football back to #1 in the state.

What's the deal with kfyr 550 playing a lame hs football game on the radio instead of the Sioux game. Isn't playing it on 710 good enough. Thanks to them I had to listen to the game on 1500am out of Minneapolis. Man that was tough to listen to. They kept saying UND didn't earn any of their goals and that they were surprised that the Gophers were not blowing us out. They couldn't understand why the gophers were not winning after having twice the shots as if they are the best team in the country. what happened to the defense from last year. That was the missing link for the pst decade. Please tell me our defense will be that good again?

Not all pipelines leak and if the proper maintenance is conducted then you will see no issues. Most of the significant leaks were from poorly maintained lines from when there were no regulations that upheld the integrity of the pipelines. Most of the pipeline leaks are caused by third party damage. This is why one calls should alway be submitted. By placing a pipeline above ground you are creating a higher risk environment and the pipeline is more susceptible to damage. Placing a pipeline above a river is a risky deal. It is susceptible to more damage than it would be if buried 90 feet deep. Would you want to put a steel pipeline near bridges that are salted or in the path of a flooding river? The risks below ground are so much less.

You need to slow your roll some. UND has now finally found success again so it will take some time to get the fans back on board. We are not going to see a change overnight.
