  1. Not sure what's going on here, but https://247sports.com/college/fresno-state/Board/102994/Contents/5-reasons-WASHINGTON-wins-Saturday-107291741/ and https://www.cougarboard.com/board/message.html?id=16684301

    Sam Houston

The band should sing/play this after it happens
  3. Refs stole the game from SUU. WORST reffing ive ever seen on final drive. Like 5 pi calls and two interceptions taken away. So happy we are gonna be done with big sky refs.
  4. Yeah. And yougstown is in the mighty mvfc, equivalent to the big twelve.
  5. Youngstown loses to Butler.
  6. We look better than last year. The local newspaper said that our kicker had the ability to kick touch backs easily. #fakenews Performance was somewhat disappointing, but I am optimistic and see definite upside in Rudy's play calling and our new QB. Brady is the #1 back with the line that we have. Transition Santiago to WR. Swap Santiago and JJ's reps at running back.
  7. You might want to double check. Looks like it's on fox college sports, not Fox Sports North. If you don't have fox college sports, you can get access to it with Fubo TV. They have a 7 day free trial.
  8. So much this! I was in school during the transition, and the tailgate lot was vacant. Could never convince anyone to go to games, and that was when people were complaining about being bored. The past couple years that I've driven up for games, I have been very impressed with the student tailgating turnout. It is becoming a party atmosphere in the tailgating lot, and that is what has needed to happen for a long time. And this is what UND has. If the tailgate lot is the place to party, more students will find there way into the stadium. When we were in school, everyone just said the team sucked and had no interest. Now that the transition is over and the team is respectable, we will continue to see student involvement improve. Bubba's support of the "freshman run" is a great Idea, and this will only help to get freshman to the games early in their time at UND. That pontoon is different than the one I saw on Craigslist. On second thought, the one I saw was like a 35K pontoon that was green with Sioux logos. But what a great idea for a tailgating rig. Tons of seating with a great layout for a parking space! Elevated seating to have a great view of the tailgate lot. How did they get it there and where is the trailer?
  9. I think I saw that for sale on craigslist about a year ago.
  10. Are you dense? They are waiting to announce their donation for phase two (and a new stadium) until the university holds a press conference to go FBS. Why else do you think we got a new mascot? All of the fbs teams have mascots... Learn to read the tea leaves.

    UND-MVSU

Not surprised. Same for his smart as response. Low effort.
  12. Speaking of... are they moving forward with their new hospital yet?

    UND-MVSU

Their QB, Chris Fowler, doesn't appear to be too bad. He had ten attempts vs NDSU and completed 6 of them, for 60% completion percentage (one int.) The other QB's combined for 1 completion in twelve attempts. I expect them to put up nearly 200 yards passing, as they did against Southern Illinois last year, and Chris again completed 60% of his passes.
  14. Field level bar in the works?

Think this is partially due to losing our setter?

  19. I think it would really help if there was a thermometer type deal on the front page of SS.com, showing the progress. I'm assuming there are probably a lot of people who visit the message boards that don't click on this thread. It would help with awareness, and those thermometer deals are popular at fundraisers for a reason. They work and encourage people to give. http://www.coolfundraisingideas.net/thermometer/ This is just one example, but if you google "online fundraising thermometer", there are tons of free websites that do this.
  20. Home opener last year was 12,047. Guessing it's down from there. Guessing 10,600.
  21. UND only has ONE woman coach?!!!!!! #unacceptable #boycott

I have tons of respect for Keaton, but he didn't throw screen passes all that well either. I think you're still right, though.

    2018 Season

First clip is pretty funny. Corby Richman pancakes Rudolph haha. Didn't realize that he switched to fullback. Didn't he start last year one game or was he just on the two deep at one point? Just goes to show how thin we were last year at linebacker. And as much as I rip on Rudolph, he does seem like a pretty awesome person, would love to see him figure it out. Hopefully he just didn't trust Studsrud's arm and he can open it up this year.

And there it is... Figured someone would respond with this lazy argument. Why not contribute to the discussion by articulating why you think their strategy is wrong? Obviously everyone here was wrong last year, when they were criticizing Rudolph for starting Heidlebaugh in the Montana game, right? Oh wait.... Rudolph had to pull him, play Zimmerman the second half, and later switch Heidlebaugh to wide reciever! I wonder how Rudolph could have made that mistake when he, after all, is the Offensive Coordinator and understands personnel and scheme so much better than us simpletons... "The courtier's reply is an alleged type of logical fallacy, coined by American biologist PZ Myers, in which a respondent to criticism claims that the critic lacks sufficient knowledge, credentials, or training to pose any sort of criticism whatsoever.[1] It may be considered a form of argument from authority." "A key element of a courtier's reply, which distinguishes it from an otherwise valid response that incidentally points out the critic's lack of established authority on the topic, is that the respondent never shows how the work of these overlooked experts invalidates the arguments that were advanced by the critic."
  25. Totally agree. She makes it sound like it's a donation. THIS IS UND's MONEY - NOT HERS. “This significant figure marks our continued commitment to UND and the surrounding community,” Kris Engelstad McGarry, of the Engelstad Foundation, said in a statement. “This commitment has lasted for 60-plus years, stemming from my parents’ passion for UND and extending well in to our present-day efforts to support and enhance all that the university has to offer.”
