Considering how the game plan never changes, he can't be THAT busy. I jest... Not emailing him. Rudolph still sucks though.

That's really pathetic, imo, if true. And people think Fenton isn't qualified...
-
And why can't Fenton do that? AD is a management/fundraising position. Period. Fenton is a smart guy that gets !@#$ done. And his background does include more than just hockey. FYI, Faison had no hockey experience prior to arriving at UND, and that didn't have any affect on the trajectory of the program.
-
Is Fenton a long shot? I would be extremely happy with him. He is young, smart, personable, and has done an amazing job with the NCHC after the league stumbled out of the gates. He also has relevant experience from his time at Miami. He has my vote. Anyone know how much he currently makes? Other than him, I'm not really interested in anyone that has ties to the university. North Dakotan's don't tend to be good idea people, imo.

Also, I will never forget that when I traveled to Greeley for the UNC football game last year, we sat directly next to each other, and he didn't even bother to ever make eye contact to say hello. We made great friends with the people on the other side of us. For him to be that anti social was really kind of upsetting and offensive. You would think that he would make some type of effort to at least say hi to the person sitting next to him, having traveled all the way to fing Greeley, CO, of all places, to support the football program. Really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Faison deserves a press conference. It's the standard for any large athletic department to have a press conference. Your idea would be total bush leage.
-
I agree Faison gets a bad rap. I think he has done great things at UND, and having the guts to start the NCHC is not something that many athletic directors would even consider. Faison has been great, but I'm ready to move on. I think he lacks true passion, vision, and creativity when dealing with non hockey sports at UND. Also credit to him for hpc, his coaching hires, and cutting women's hockey.

OH, maybe they are adding women's hockey! LOL

This is going to be underwhelming. Something similar to how the Big Sky promoted their big announcement and it turned out to be a new cell phone app.
-
Brad would prob start next week if studs is out again. These coaches are stubborn as hell.
-
Why? Even if he is leapfrogged, we need the depth.

I like those the best! The stripes!

Love the new gear!

I think we should drug test every day so that nobody can ever eat poppy seeds.
-
What, exactly, sounds like a way to clean up a mess of a program? I didn't type anything about how I think the program should operate. Having a personal opinion about marijuana doesn't mean that I condone players on the football team selling drugs. Bubba made the right decision to kick the guys off the team, imo. I also don't think the program is a mess. Guys on every team in the country smoke pot... most just don't get caught. If you don't think that, you're probably delusional.
-
Sounds like a great way to drive athletes away from your program. Not a chance that, if I were a recruit, I would commit to a school that feels the need to drug test me every day. Talk about a way to kill moral... I don't smoke, but tons of elite athletes (NFL) (Olympians) do it all of the time. As long as athletes get their workouts in and watch their diet, smoking pot will not affect their performance like drinking does, which is legal.

Does anybody know when this is going to be released?
-
Second this, and UND Acadamics, in general. It doesn't really fit under "community" imo. I think there would be more University related conversation if either were to happen.
-
I think it was a good conversation until Bison06 was accused of trolling. It's just like politics.... not all conversation is bad. And homers here say way worse stuff.
-
And the fact that UND is only averaging 60.7 plays on offense per game, so far this year. There aren't enough offensive snaps to spread the ball around.
-
Gotta think that if Nike is involved so is Oregon.

Please post a link to that press release. Bet you can't find it.
