    Jerseys

Replicas are still gonna look like crap with the big gap in the middle. Not gonna buy one. Not a fan.
  4. Jealous of you guys that can make it! Was planning on going, but ended up remodeling my house instead. Need to readjust my priorities...
  5. Yeah I like it too.... kinda goofy. His reporting could be more in-depth, though. He did say this in the comments, though. "As for the FBS dropdown, I’ve heard the rumblings and know the name. I’ve been searching for confirmation but can’t find anything yet. So we’ll see."
  6. http://www.espn.com/watch/player?id=3123311&t=02h13m20s That link brings you to the espn3 replay. The play starts when the game clock is at 4:16 in the 4th quarter.
  7. Joe Frat Boy has the ability to turn into a lifelong fan. Have you ever become interested in something that you used to not care about? I'm guessing that answer is yes. Also, the hockey team seems to like their student support, even though a large part of the fan base only goes to games for the social scene.
  8. I would most of the time, but I could rarely get my friends to, so I would end up walking in with them anyways. It was a waste of like 30-45 min, when a table could be set up in the tailgate lot for free. Why make things harder for students when a significant amount of them barely want to go in the first place? Believe it or not, a lot of students don't decide whether or not to go until game day. Also, if I remember correctly, there is a few hour window, ON GAME DAY, that tickets cannot be bought at the union or the Alerus center. Ridiculous. Remember, this is all about fan experience... which way provides a better fan experience? Of course the current system technically works, but it doesn't mean that the experience can't be improved. And for pretty much free. Also, I knew a lot of frat guys who would sometimes tailgate, without ever having the intention of going into the game (and they didn't). If tickets were right there in the tailgate lot, I'm sure a few people who do this would grab a ticket and end up walking in, because it would be convenient. Maybe they would end up liking it, and student attendance would increase.
  9. Have a table for student tickets in the tailgate lot. It was a pain to have to leave the tailgate lot, wait in line, and walk all the way back to the tailgate lot to get our tickets. Having to wait for the ticket booth to open also created a huge line in the main entrance right before the game, and the extra congestion slows down the flow of fans into the Alerus. The ticket booth should also be open when tailgating begins, whether inside the Alerus, or at the table that I mentioned. I don't think it ever was, and I think I remember having to wait to buy a ticket. Having a ticket table at the student lot would also push more students into the tailgating area. The student tailgate should be set up at the front of the tailgate lot. The atmosphere for student tailgating was always terrible because we were so far in the back, with no cars or anything around us.
  10. Home opener is going to sell out.
  11. Any chance JJ also plays some snaps as Fullback?
  12. Cal Poly is over rated at the beginning of every season. Should not be ranked, IMO. Don't think they have ever finished higher than their pre season ranking. Ever.
  13. Hope someone bumps Siebel off the two deep for Punt return.
  14. He was a big part of why Santiago had such a great year as a freshman. Guy had a lot of potential and many here thought that he had NFL talent.
  15. This is when it would be nice to have a football beat writer.
  16. It's all about context. I was replying to this: "Didn't know where to put this, but the fundraising number stood out to me. A $6 million dollar jump in the FY2016 compare to FY2015. How comparable is the increase to previous years?" A 6 mil jump in fundraising brought us up to 39 mil, which is still below the 5 year average. Ideally that number would go up every year. So no, a 6 mil bump to 39 mil is still nothing special, especially after a 15 mil drop brought us down to that 33 mil number.
  17. Nothing special, unfortunately. https://www.undalumni.org/file/documents/financial/final_annual_report_on_giving.pdf
  18. Yeah it's fitted and the material breathes really well. One of the most well made hats I've ever had. I got it at Scheels in Fargo.
  19. Neither do students. Once it get's late, parties start and students leave. They had late games when I was a freshman in 2008, and I couldn't get anybody to stay with me. Freshman want to go and experience college parties, not sit indoors on a warm fall night. It's unfortunate, but it's true, no matter how good the team is.
