Appropriately named yourself Milo because you know you're a troll... UND isn't cutting football so cut your shtick. The budget is plenty big to be competitive in multiple sports. Thanks for the in game posts. I missed the game, but reading the game thread still has some suspence and excitement. Much appreciated! -
McKinney might be a player that could benefit most from the new OC. He will Get a chance to do something besides the jet screen! Danny is gonna get the ball to skill in space and I can't wait.
-
Didn't Travis Beck already tweet that it was Newman?
-
Nope. It's just a new feature on their website and I thought it was interesting. We always seem to be looking for one or two transfers, and it is any easy way to see who may potentially be available. Although some of the less well known guys aren't probably on the list.
-
SHSU landed a former 4 star transfer running back from Texas. Guessing we get to watch him when they come up here. https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Toneil-Carter-80221/RecruitInterests/

My dad has a story of my grandpa when he lived in North Dakota... abandoned his car during a blizzard, wandered off and eventually broke into a store to find shelter in the middle of nowhere. Later found his car by sticking a rod down through the snow to find it. 100% buried. Not sure of the year.
-
School was cancelled from a blizzard in I think 2011, so my buddies and I thought it would be a great idea to head to the casino.... once we got out of East Grand, visibility was very bad, but we trudged along. Half way there, it got bad enough that we had to turn around. I remember driving the old Buick home, could literally barely see past the front of the hood. Was driving 5 mph and felt the front wheels get light... drove partly into the ditch because it was such a white out, while only going 5 mph! Was driving slow enough, and felt it soon enough that I was able to reverse, and continue on our way. We were lucky that the wind blew the snow off the roads, otherwise we would have been screwed. At the occasional shelter belt, the snow would be piled, but there was better visibility, and we had to get some serious speed to make it through in our two wheel drive car, and then we would right away hit white out conditions again. One of the dumbest things we ever did.

"weather isn't climate"

That's why UNC has to stay in the Big Sky! Kid's from Cali and Arizona will go to UNC because they can watch Big Sky football and basketball in Greeley!!! I saw a post on a message board, and a guy said that his neighbors cousin has a friend who knows the president, and he thinks they will double their enrollment within 3 years with this strategy.
-
Not saying you're wrong, but the online ratings websites suck for fcs. NDSU is prob the only fcs school that has a guy working at 247 keeping their commits page updated. Edit: Apparently Portland State, Central Ark, and Idaho are ranked higher.
-
At risk of thread drift, would be kinda funny if PJ Fleck offered Graetz a scholly now.
-
Two of three ain't bad... and we beat out some quality schools for both. Not a bad weekend.
-
Kinda disagree because there are always QB's that surprise, and we will need depth. Didn't we have a pwo that transferred out and ended up starting at UNLV? Ya never know for sure what you're getting. Look at Mollbergs career also, for instance, and he was one of the biggest "gets" we have had in the D1 era.

Affirmative. Same location. https://www1.und.edu/finance-operations/facilities-management/_files/docs/und-athletics-masterplan-0406.pdf

WOW. That's their home arena isn't it? Fans of other schools must be pissed haha

For women's basketball, I like the Betty more than those other arenas because the games rarely sell out at any of them, and the Betty is louder and has a better atmosphere for what these teams typically draw in attendance. I'm sure the non game day facilities are lacking though. I'll never stop saying it, but that place needs taller risers - it will make a huge difference in the look and feel of the place. North Side - Athletics Master Plan Remember the hyslop is getting repurposed.
-
If he goes to NDSU (or UND), there is a chance that he has confidence in himself and thinks he can contend for the starting job. Perhaps he connects with their coaches or the University better. Every team has recruits that will sit for two or three years, or never even make the field. UND could use more of them, and I think it doesn't do the kid any justice by knocking him for a personal decision that hasn't even been made yet.
-
Merchandise sales are categorized as Novelties on UND's financial statement. They are one in the same.
-
What was the prior complaint?
-
What's at the top of the list?
-
Sorry for correcting the facts. Nobody is arguing that it the existence of the Ralph itself is bad. People criticize the management of the Ralph, and your response is that if it didn't exist we would be worse off. Good point! Edit: Also, your buddy Big A HG says that novelty sales alone are enough to fund non hockey sports (not even close). "Not to mention, what about all the revenue hockey generates for all sports through the sale of merchandise? The amount of revenue REA generated in that department funds all athletic programs."
-
More like 2.25 million, plus program, novelty, parking, and concession sales at the Betty and Ralph. Add back 500k to 1M that RAE allocates to UND at the end of the year.
