  1. Student Athlete: "what can I do to get better" Coach Hardin: "just be the fastest player in the conference"
  2. Love the video of the new union. Some great plans. Like that the patio and lawn area is all south facing. The walls can help to block the wind. Would have loved to have an outdoor study area in the fall. This pic shows a huge staircase and a TV - could defiantly see people congregate here for mini viewing parties during important games, especially if people need a study break or something.
  3. Phase two ever going to have funding? Ever?
  4. If I were a student, I'd be pissed if they did this. The students are paying for it, and I don't think the should be locked out of any of the spaces for private events.
  5. Not really into a Europe game but this would be amazing - Croatia:
  6. Don't look at his pinned tweet.
  7. Kind of like Montana last year? Not sure. This counts yards after catch, but he was 78 out of 116 in FBS with 11.76 yards per completion. Ketteringham had 11.54 yards per completion, which ranked 66 out of 97 in FCS. Not sure if anything can be interpreted by these stats or not. I would think that if they were throwing tons of quick passes all game, the yards per completion would be on the lower end. Also couldn't find the other QB at Oregon State for some reason https://stats.ncaa.org/rankings/change_sport_year_div I was curious, so I looked it up - Gresch Jenson at Montana averaged 14.3 yards per completion last year, which was 14th in FCS.
  8. stats https://osubeavers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6547 2018 62% completion percentage averaging 7.3 yards per pass. 7 td 2 int Ketteringham completed 54% of his passes and averaged 6.3 yards per pass
  9. Hypothetically, If the original plan was for him to play at Gonzaga, beginning second semester, would the NCAA rules have allowed him to play at UND while finishing his degree, and then play for Gonzaga spring semester?
  10. No. But that doesn't mean I can't still want Hack to come back. Berry better hope he doesn't miss the playoffs again though.
  11. Id like to see him come back home to UND.
  12. We had bandwagon fans after last year? We doubled our win total!
  13. All else equal, Freund's style will be way more engaging for casual fans and students. Attendance will be better, assuming the product is improved. Pace of play will help greatly. I can see the game against Drake having lower attendance than the first game this year, however.
  14. Wasn't Danny the only guy that stayed on staff when muss was fired? I think that also has to say a lot about his potential and what he means to the program. I think this was the right move, given the current circumstances.
  15. Did Jal travel? Sealed not selecting the best shots...
  16. Dooley and Klabo both followed out.
  17. http://volleytalk.proboards.com/thread/75651/bracketology-11-21?q=denver Looks like the Summit could potentially be a two bid league this year, with Denver losing to South Dakota in the conference tourney. Impressive for the Summit if this happens. I know Pryor talked about this a lot when we were in the Big Sky, and he was always hoping that that could happen when we were over in that league.
  18. I think it would have been cool if they could somehow incorporate dorms into a project like this... the student experience would be awesome, compared to having to walk all the way from the Wilki complex. Not sure if a parking ramp will be built beneath this, but it should be, especially with the winters that we have and the lack of on campus parking. A pub would also be an awesome addition in the new union, but not gonna happen. Next up needs to be the business school. Everyone on campus takes classes there, and I think a new building there would have a much bigger impact in recruiting students than the Union. Anyone hear any rumblings on when this would happen? Would be awesome if they could get a name like Cargill attached to it. University of North Dakota Cargill School of Business.
  19. Kind of. He's the had coach at Cretin Derham Hall. https://www.cretin-derhamhall.org/athletics-archive/boys-teams/football/meet-coaches/ From wiki: Coaching career[edit] Bollinger was the head coach at Hill-Murray School in St. Paul and led them to their first state tournament berth in recent history. In 2012, he became the quarterbacks coach at the University of Pittsburgh, but left the program to pursue non-coaching opportunities after the 2013 season. Currently, Bollinger is the quarterbacks coach for Cretin-Derham Hall High School in St. Paul, a school known for turning out Division I-caliber college football talents.[5] On December 21, 2015, Bollinger was named the head football coach at Cretin-Derham Hall, after longtime coach Mike Scanlan resigned.[6]
  20. Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere - does UND need to wait 30 days like they do for a head coach, if they aren't already employed by the university?
  21. How many FBS games do we have scheduled for our transition?
  22. No kidding. He could also be the interim head coach. Or he could do well as an OC, and the head coach wouldn't need to get fired.
  23. I will trust Chaves and the decisions that he made in keeping Bubba and only playing 11 games next year. I think that is the right call. But that was not his only option - if he picked up one FBS game for next year, that would have been enough money to buy out Bubba's contract without impacting the budget.
