  1. QB. Not possible. Try again.
  2. I'd argue that Oliveira already did that last year. It would be interesting to know what the median runs for each would be. Not sure if there is anywhere that we can look it up, but I wouldn't doubt that Oliveira would have a better number there. Also curious if there is any way to look up number of attempts that ended in a loss of yards. RUSHING GP-GS Att Gain Loss Net Avg TD Long Avg/G John Santiago 11-11 119 759 42 717 6.0 5 81 65.2 Brady Oliveira 11-0 111 651 14 637 5.7 3 57 57.9 James Johannesson 11-0 41 255 7 248 6.0 4 56 22.5
  3. Can't recommend watchbigsky.com enough. It's the same broadcast as the pluto app, but is way smoother for some reason.
  4. Ketteringham - Finally a QB with the skill set of an FCS QB McKinney - Finally a QB with arm strength that can get him the ball. Another year in the system, and hopefully more weight for Mckinney. If rudolph opens up the playbook that could help. Mason Bennett - Had my eye on him ever since he came in with Brady Oliviera from Winnipeg. I think he has some serious upside. Jake Rastas - Bigger Stronger James Johannesson I'd still say Santiago could have a breakout year. Despite receiving numerous accolades already in his career. I don't think he has played close to his potential. He has been limited by the playbook and Offensive Line. If there are improvements here, we could see much more consistent production out of him.

    2018 Season

There were also tons of people who wanted Rudolph fired after the 2016 season, when UND went 9-3 and made the playoffs. People don't want him gone simply because UND lost a lot of games last year. So he isn't a scapegoat. That 2016 team was 105 out of 122 teams in FCS in 3rd down conversion %. Looks to me like Rudolph got LUCKY to have a guy like Santiago that can break a huge run every once in a while, and in turn boost the yards/play stats. The offense has ZERO consistency.
  6. This. And I could see them developing quite the following in St. Paul. Think TCU. Could even play some football at the new soccer stadium down there.

Who said that he would demand it? Two people CAN have a difficult conversation without becoming adversarial. However, Chaves can, and should, make it clear that if Bubba is unwilling to make needed changes (assuming the offense doesn't improve), he may not be the right man for the job. Should Chaves just sit on his hands if we have another season where we do not reach our potential offensively? I would think that both he and Bubba have higher standards than that. Coaching is a results driven career. Period.

Exactly. Chaves is the boss, and he is used to watching competent offensive coordinators. And he cares about football.
  9. At least according to @SIOUXFAN97, he already did! On his linkedin page, it says he worked on NCAA recruiting for Euro Elite Basketball. Guessing he has quite a few connections over there. Best chance we will have at finding under the radar big-guy talent, imo.
  10. http://euroelite.org/about-euro-elite-basketball-academy/ About coach Dani Mihailovic: As a member of the Beobasket Sport Management Agency that represents high level NBA and Euroelague players and coaches, coach Mihailovic coached some of the greatest European talents, the spring of 2015. He is currently obtaining masters degree in Educational Leadership at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and FIBA basketball license. 11. You ever think that people from different cultures don't have the exact same focus on schooling? Natives have more pathways into universities like UND than almost anyone - they just decide not to take them. I can think of one particular O-lineman that fits the bill here.

This is where it's nice having Chaves. After watching Beau Baldwin and his success at Eastern, Chaves will hopefully encourage Bubba to move on from Rudolph.
  13. Cool. Just found this article. http://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/4322240-med-school-profs-formula-gaining-traction-und
  14. So she worked 20% of a 40 hour week and complained about the schools expectations of timeliness in her work? Of course they asked her if she really wanted to be there.
  15. I remember growing up learning that we should treat everybody equally. Today's politics has reduced everything down to race. All things being equal, a minority born in affluence has a better shot at getting into Cal Poly than a white kid in poverty? That seems pretty racist to me. It also reeks of arrogance, that these universities think that minorities don't have the ability to excel in school well enough to be accepted by their university, simply because of their skin color. If the argument is that minorities come from low income families and are dealt a bad hand, increase the acceptance rate for all poor people, without regard to skin color.
  16. Kinda under the radar but id take Paul Ralston if he could call hockey. You guys ever hear him for basketball? He does a great job, and he does it without a color guy helping him. Has he ever done any hockey games?

They know, don't worry! They already cover every conceivable story, apparently. Teeder doesn't provide any info that isn't already available through Tom. ***Sarcasm****
  18. Apparently it's a Bison fan.
  19. Add a court to the North. Plenty of room.
  20. Good. Hope he stays forever!
  21. Did he do the basketball play by play on the radio broadcast? He was a blast to listen to.
  22. Have there been any scheduling updates for next year? Most schools have a few games that have leaked out by now. Such as Montana playing NDSU at home and SDSU away.
