  1. Good thing our coaches don't relay on this for recruiting players, and they actually go out and find them instead of waiting for them to apply.
  2. No kidding. In addition, people are worried that the public records requests in ND limits the quality of the candidate pool for jobs like this. Does anyone really think that anyone worth their salt won't have a job like this on their radar if they are interested in this type of position? I'm sure Freund or Bubba would take their call, and if they can't figure out how to get in contact with them, I'd have to wonder how well they would do at recruiting student athletes. I think it's highly unlikely that Freund and Bubba will have their best candidate just apply for a job and make themselves subject to an open records request, without reaching out to Freund and Bubba first. The public job posting is a formality.
  3. Ha, why? I just don't see how it's an issue that the job isn't posted yet. They are probably talking to people they have in mind, and then they will post it. Aren't most of these jobs found through networking anyway? Maybe people will be upset that this isn't posted on Monster or Careerbuilder.com, as well.
  4. Jeesh guys. I know we're not in the playoffs right now but come on! Their jobs are on the line, and they will do their best to find the right people for the jobs.
  5. Are these games publicly released anywhere?
  6. Summit League recruiting rankings so far for the early signing period. Good little article. https://www.prephoops.com/2018/11/the-summit-league-team-recruiting-rankings/
  7. Freund said that he was going to call him during the last minute or so of his interview with Jack Michaels. (not necessarily about coaching, but he didn't say it wasn't) https://740thefan.com/podcasts/jack-michaels-show/962/freund-explains-how-hell-put-his-stamp-on-unds-offense-after-being-named-oc/
  8. Season tickets are gonna be nuts the first year ndsu comes
  9. No. I'm saying at the time I didnt know students paid for the building. I remember being affected by it, and it was still annoying. The University shouldnt do it based on principle. What actually pissed me off though was Northland students working out at the wellness. Place was already packed enough as it was.
  10. Uh, have you ever heard of madden? They must play together online. #chuckthepigskin
  11. Huh. Never thought of that then, but yeah, exactly! That screwed up my pre-workout basketball warm up more than once.
  12. That's what I'm thinking. I just edited my post - I think the black things are part of the stairs, and people sit in the middle like bleachers. That, along with people being able to watch along the railing, would make this a pretty fun place to watch a big game.
  13. Yeah! I think the black things are cushions. Nobody is sitting on them in this screen shot, but probably only because the silhouettes are black. Actually, the black things are part of the stairs, and people sit in the middle like bleachers.
  14. Student Athlete: "what can I do to get better" Coach Hardin: "just be the fastest player in the conference"
  15. Love the video of the new union. Some great plans. Like that the patio and lawn area is all south facing. The walls can help to block the wind. Would have loved to have an outdoor study area in the fall. This pic shows a huge staircase and a TV - could defiantly see people congregate here for mini viewing parties during important games, especially if people need a study break or something.
  16. Phase two ever going to have funding? Ever?
  17. If I were a student, I'd be pissed if they did this. The students are paying for it, and I don't think the should be locked out of any of the spaces for private events.
  18. Not really into a Europe game but this would be amazing - Croatia:
  19. Don't look at his pinned tweet.
  20. Kind of like Montana last year? Not sure. This counts yards after catch, but he was 78 out of 116 in FBS with 11.76 yards per completion. Ketteringham had 11.54 yards per completion, which ranked 66 out of 97 in FCS. Not sure if anything can be interpreted by these stats or not. I would think that if they were throwing tons of quick passes all game, the yards per completion would be on the lower end. Also couldn't find the other QB at Oregon State for some reason https://stats.ncaa.org/rankings/change_sport_year_div I was curious, so I looked it up - Gresch Jenson at Montana averaged 14.3 yards per completion last year, which was 14th in FCS.
  21. stats https://osubeavers.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=6547 2018 62% completion percentage averaging 7.3 yards per pass. 7 td 2 int Ketteringham completed 54% of his passes and averaged 6.3 yards per pass
  22. Hypothetically, If the original plan was for him to play at Gonzaga, beginning second semester, would the NCAA rules have allowed him to play at UND while finishing his degree, and then play for Gonzaga spring semester?
  23. No. But that doesn't mean I can't still want Hack to come back. Berry better hope he doesn't miss the playoffs again though.
  24. Id like to see him come back home to UND.
