  1. I think the OCR and US DoE have biggest issues to deal with than looking for that small minuscule of an issue
  2. Anybody have an inkling on which way this is going to go?
  3. The trash talk is going to epic. The fight... well Connor has a punchers chance. What does he have to lose, gets knocked out and makes more $$$ and he did in UFC. Does better than expected and could lead to more fights and $$$.... won't hurt to throw $20 down on the underdog...
  4. Just announced his verbal commitment to the Bison. They got their QB and now their WR (2 guys I really wanted to see in Green and White )
  5. I'm not looking too much into this. I am wondering if it just the cut needed to pay the penalty for the Summit and WCHA. When it stated that the cut was apart of the $1.3 million, I got less concerned.
  6. Well they also are getting a $500k pay day as of now playing U-Dub so perhaps some of that money is going there.
  7. Wazzu? They haven't been relevant since Klay Thompson was there.
  8. My dream would be if some UND landed a true center. If they can replace Drick with equal or greater value (I know its asking a lot this late in the game), they UND can still content this year. If they can't... it will be more difficult. We saw what happened with Montana and Weber last year when you didn't have decent to above average post play to balance great guards.
  9. How much of UND rep as a "hockey-only" school impacted this? Does anyone bat an eye if UND was basketball-only or football-only or good at multiple sports for a long period of time? Some people will never forgive Kennedy for this, he could raise standards, clean up campus, raise retention, graduation rates, could cure cancer, solve world hunger, solve climate change, create world peace and people would still rip him for cutting the program.
  10. Well until the OCR investigation is done... which should end right around 2019 at this rate
  11. I wonder, did the Ralph make the decision to take all that down or was it UND? Of course it won't matter because people will just skew the fact to their narrative.
  12. I'm won't touch the transfer rules/Drick's decision/Jones contract, this post is strictly a regard to 17-18 This is a big blow and as I stated here in March, it makes the Shanks move a bigger blow as well. UND now has a very thin frontcourt. More alarming is there is only one of them that is currently trustworthy (Avants). One is injury prone (Jones), the other only has 94 minutes in college basketball and most of that was in mop-up (Walter). Now that is not to say that Walter can't step it up or Jones can put together a healthy and productive season, its possible. Its time for UND to get lucky on one of these transfers. Like grand slam lucky. Like EWU-Wiley lucky
  13. I'm hoping that this contract extension gets announced here in the next week or so... I get some of the issues between the budget and a death in the AD's family, but this is dragging on too long.
  14. They CLEARLY need to fire more administrators and the president needs to cut his salary.
  15. Not only would they have a decision on Santana should that occur, but Dozier would be in those discussions as well. With Gordon waiting in the wings at SS, they are going to have to make a hard decision on who they want to end up keeping between him and Polanco. The one big concern I have if they are in contention is the closer, not because I think Kintzer is terrible, he has done a very good job and his story is pretty cool... I have no idea how he will handle a big save spot in a middle of a division chase. I hope he isn't like Perkins who was very fragile mentally. With that said... its fun to see them in first place on Memorial Day weekend.
  16. Going to be very interesting to see as the summer goes on, and if the Twins hang in contention, what they decide to do. Impressive sweep of Baltimore. Now can they start winning at home?
  17. Pryor really likes to needle NDSU doesn't he . I hope UND can lock him up for a long, long, long time. In all seriousness, with what this team has coming back, at minimum I could see 25 wins, a BSC title and a return to the NCAAs. If things break right maybe running the conference table or winning 30 games isn't out of the realm of possibility.
  18. Well yes, this too. An FCS title would really drive the momentum forward. Still a bit nervous in a few spots but its more about inexperience than talent at this point. If it all comes together, why not us?
  19. It is nice to see that there is a ton of momentum on the ticket front going into the year. It would be good to keep it going with another BSC title and deep playoff run.
  20. Big? Massive understatement, I'm sure Coach Logan is just ecstatic with that nice little recruiting chip. Now if they can just upgrade that field....
  21. If I have this right, we will only get Weber/ISU once in conference schedule and either NAU/SUU or SAC/PSU (my guess will be SAC/PSU) will be the other. It will be a step up from last years slate, especially if the Weber/ISU swing is on the road. The Montana trip will be especially brutal this year for all teams
  22. That would be nice.. although I remember the last time they played Hawaii it was a late night watching it. Still upset they didn't complete the comeback.
  23. Like to see them go to a decent holiday tournament.
  24. Yup, good old regional bias strikes again....
  25. The next school to be under OCR investigation is..... <ding ding ding> SIU! If you had that school in the pool, congratulations! Come to the front desk to claim your prize They cut M/W Tennis and reduced M S/D in case you forgot.
