If Nadaks is the chosen name I'll purchase new merchandise as soon as available. Anything else don't see buying anthing other then just North Dakota on it. Can't say never as that is a long time.

Only chance I vote Roughrider would have been if it went against Sundogs. Now I need to figure out if I vote my 1st choice of Nodaks or Fighting Hawks because I dislike Roughriders so much.

I was also disappointed is the Students in the 2nd half. But to be fair a lot of the non-student crowd also left in the 2nd half. I was in Section 205 and there were hardly anyone around us in the 2nd half. The defense needs to catch the ball. Way too many interceptions and pick 6's missed. In the end we won and that is what matters, but put up the same effort next week and we will get killed. I expect a much better effort next week.

How were you able to do this? Did you just use a browser? The Big Sky app does not work this year for me.

I was streaming today's match and it was awful. I hope this gets fixed before our first road Big Sky football game or it will be very disappointing. One of the great things about being in the Big Sky is being able to watch all road games on the web.

Best solution stay North Dakota. If NCAA is not satisfied then new nickname is NoDak's.

I disagree that we will need to start the process over to change the name. If the university states they have decided on no nickname and moved on they could kill the issue.

I disagree with this. The university can control this. “We have decided we don't need a nickname and are moving on”. Create new logo depicting what North Dakota is known for and move on.

I'm sure North Stars would have even more trademark issues. So really Nodaks, Sundogs and Fighting Hawks. Nodaks would have some of same issues as staying North Dakota, so just Sundogs and Fighting Hawks.

I don't see anything wrong with just staying THE University of North Dakota. We would be the University of the Whole State. North Dakota is a great State. We don't need a nickname. As far as a logo, there are a lot of creative people in the state. Have a contest to come up with a logo that includes all the great things in the state. Here are a lot of missed opportunities. No matter what name is chosen there are going to be a lot of pissed off people. UND will be known as the Sioux for a long time no matter what is chosen. I predict Rough Riders will now win the popular vote, we will be told there are trademark issues and we are going to be known at the Sundogs. It has become obvious it was never up to public to choose.

Does the host team get to decide if they want the early or late start time for Regionals? I aways thought the host team was the 2nd game.

It's looking like the 4th place team in the NCHC tourney will have a tougher match up in the first round the the NCHC tourney then in the first round of the NCAA tourney. This league is incredible.

Win over NDSU and its not even close. UND needs to change the current image they have in the state for football. A win against NDSU would go a long way.
