I'm not a Romfo hater as he has done nothing but work his butt off since being here and appears to be a great teammate, but I think his role should be limited to being the holder on FG and Extra points. If you want to mix in a fake off one of those than so be it. They aren't tricking anyone by putting him a WR to set up a trick play.

Won't go that far. Our 2 losses would not get us above an undefeated Montana or Tarleton team. The others ahead of us I think would be jump.

Playoff committee has us at #8 right now, which would be a 1st round bye. So run the table would mean 1st round bye for sure. I think 1 loss we would still have a chance, since that would mean a win over the current 1st or 2nd ranked team.

What was the deal with this? I was 5 at the time and I remember having a Kermit the Frog that I would sometimes bring to games. Even have a picture in the Dakota Student holding Kermit. Remember "Kermit's luck guides our puck" and it would ride around on the Zamboni. Was it stolen or rewarded to Series winner?

On the flip side, what would have happened if he was one and Done in 2020. How much sooner would we have gotten rid of him. From what we have seen since the title in 2016, he was much more likely to have been one and done. I too thought the title in 2020 was taken from UND, but recent history has said otherwise.

Agree IMO a split is a good weekend for the road team. If you are an elite team you sweep at home. Anything less than that is not a good weekend. Also I think MN would be happy with a split. Never want the opponent happy after a weekend playing UND.

All 3 Dakota schools that Midco broadcast are on the road and looks like none of there are being aired. Seems like a big mistake. If Midco want to me the Regional Sports leader they should have UND and USD on in the Afternoon, one on each of there channels and SDSU on Midco 2 and UND Hockey on Midco 1.

People go to the football game for the atmosphere, that include everything from Concessions, the band, tailgating(if your into that), energy from the crowd. If it was just to watch football you and stay home and watch on TV. I guess it is just me, but I think it is rude for them to be kicking the ball around while the band is playing. They have plenty of time to do that after the band is done and before that game. I've made my point. Time to move on.

Its not a secret that the band only comes to football games, because they need to play at football to be able to play at hockey. Maybe they just stop showing up. The kickers are warmed up already. I doesn't even make senses they are out there. The are going to go sit on the sideline after and either get cold or kick into their net thing. Just wait until a band member takes a ball to the back of the head.

or maybe the band is playing right up until the snap to get back at the football team for kicking while they are still on the field.

If we want the band at the game, they need to be given a time to play. The band adds so much to the atmosphere of a football game. They should be given the respect to play without having to watch for flying footballs. Respect the band and they can add so much more to the game. Agree on timing for the band. I think an assistant coach or intern should go to a band practice and work on timing and ways to get the other student involved throughout the whole game. Besides just playing in heaven there is not beer after scores.

Last rant. At halftime can the kickers not wait until the band is done with their halftime performance? The band is a very important part of a college football experience. The teams should stay off the field until a set time. Say the team came back out 5 minutes before the start of the 2nd half. If you suck as a FG kicker the extra few minutes a half time is not going to all of a sudden make you a good kicker. Just seems rude to me.

What the heck happened with the team being late coming onto the field? Is that on the team for not being really to come out or is the announcer supposed to wait until the team is really, than make the announcement? Sure would be nice if the band/cheerleaders created a tunnel/lane for the team to run out between. It would just look better. Now the run out and need to make a sharp left to avoid the band.

Do the Students pay anything for their Tailgate lot? I think is is time to take it away. It sounded like a good idea to get students to the game, but in reality 90% or more of the students come for the tailgating than leave. The ones that make it into the game leave at halftime. Besides that they leave it a mess when they leave. Why is the Alerus/und providing them another place to party. Open the lot back up to paid parking or charge the student the same amount for their tailgating spots as the general public. End of Rant.

We were up 9 at 1/2 time. Would have been 13 with FG an xtra point or 17 with xtra point and TD instead of FG. This is all assuming the rest of the half plays out the same. I just think it is too simple to blame the loss on CJ when a number of other things went wrong.

Did not forget about it. What would you have thought if the converted the 4th down and go on to score a TD? 7>3. Don't get me wrong we need better out of our FG Kicker, but there was plenty of blame to go around including our QB. The 1/2 half of the MT game was his worse 1/2 this year. Better QB play we win that game by double digits. We needed someone to made a play.

That's as dumb as saying if we win by 1 point it is only because we made the xtra point. A lot of other factures go into winning an losing a game. Assuming we make the kick that doesn't mean we win the game. At best it goes to OT. If the defense can make a stop or the offence can not give the ball back to Montana we win the game.
