The only reason it's not is because the NCAA like it that way it is. It was discussed for weeks about who should be in the Playoffs now its discussed who got screwed over and who should not be in the playoffs. The NFL is simple. You are in or out. Look at your record, the first game means as much as the last game. The only 2 teams that deserve a shot at the Championship this year are Georgia and Indiana. If you don't make it to to you conference championship game, why should you have a chance at a national championship? If you lost the Conference championship you are not as good as the team that beat you. Why should you get another chance. The Big 10 and SEC Championship was basically meaningless, why even play it. How long until teams rest their best players to avoid injury before National tournament. If the top 2 seed make it to the championship, why should Indiana have to prove again that they are Ohio st. If you are not the best in your conference, how can you be the best in the country.

Big Ten and SEC just need to get together and do their own thing. Big Ten Champ vs SEC champ. Set it up like just like the NFL. Set the teams up into divisions and schedule games just like the NFL does.

By not being in a Conference they was always relying on the Committee to give them an at large bid. Probably right about the reason Miami got in. Nothing was final until Sunday. The Committee can change there mind up until that time.

UND has never been and will never be a D1 Basketball School. People only have enough time and money and it is allocated to Hockey. I'm at the point that we need to do the very minimum for Basketball as it doesn't matter at UND. It only worked at the D2 level because only 6K could go to hockey, your don't have to paid and Arm and Leg to get Hockey season tickets, Road games were not on TV and most of the D2 Opponents were within travel distance with games on Friday and Saturday night.

Nothing in wrong with the way it is now. Notre Dame needs to stop thinking they are something special. They need to either join a conference like every other team or deal with the fact you might be left out. They did it to themselves. The G5 Schools have a chance to make the Tourney now as the top 5 conference winners get in. Just need to be the top G5 School. There are 7 At large bids. If you are not one of those you are not good enough or deserving enough to be in the tourney. Only thing I might do in bring back the old BCS ranking to be used everyone know where they stand. But what make College Football so popular is also what makes it suck. When teams are left out everyone is talking about College football and why there team should be in. Controversy drives ratings.

I think it happens sometimes at power 4 schools. I remember a couple years ago, I think it was BYU that a donor stepped in and provided enough NIL to all PWO to cover tuition.

I would agree with this. The first time I walked into the Betty I was expecting something similar to the Ralph. Boy was I disappointed. When the Hyslop was rocking there was nothing like it in GF and that includes Hockey. However I didn't even know we had a volleyball team Until Hardee showed up and, I have been in GF my whole life (Since mid 70's).

There have been 5 times this year that Jerry has had double digit rushing attempts. They have lost all 5 times. Seems like he is keeping the ball more, need to let the running backs handle the running. Should help with Gavin back and Chuck not needing to worry about the 4 game limit to keep his red shirt.

And Army Beat Kansas St. Obviously you can't just compare games, but they are a very good team and we will need to play a full 60 minutes. We need the same Defensive Effort and the Offense needs to be better in the first half. If we are forced to kick FG's they need to be made.
