1. UMD-The hate for UMD is way over the top. I was not that long ago UND played the same way, but we called it tough guy hockey. Ref's call the game correctly it does not get out of hand like it did. 2. Denver-NCHC Love 3. Harvard-by default. Hate everything Hockey East and Big Ten 4 Notre Dame-Hate everything Hockey East and Big Ten. Stole our interlocking ND. Now we have some ugly Dove for a logo.

Do the other olympians get paid year round?

I can't cheer for a hockey east team or Big Ten School over an NCHC school. Luck for the UMD haters I don't have tickets so I'll for cheering from my couch.

I would sayN the Big Ten is to blame. They could have left things the way they were, but had to get greedy and look what happened. Hard to blame a college for creating a hockey team. We want the game to grow Right? NCHC Reg season> WCHA Reg Season

i wonder how the UND Band members fill about the fact that they didn't get the change to go. I love that the administration give the opportunity to a HS band to play on live TV and we had a live band please the school song rather than piped in music. Thought it was a great story.

As much as I HATE the pig ten. Low attendance is bad for the health of the game.

I don't like the idea of having to play them for the 2nd week in a row. If we win Friday don't the idea of a rematch 1 week later, seems to favor the team that lost the week before.

Shots were 12-2 in 1st period in Minn Favor. I'm not sure what game you were at.

I don't by the conspriacy, but if they don't like it than maybe their fans should show up for the touneyment. UND fans will once again outnumber all the other fan's combined. Duluth is closer to Mpls than GF is. Also Duluth is the better team this year. No excuses.

I also think there is an assumtion that you can't get hockey tickets unless you know someone. Poor advertising by UND this week..

Dulth, because I could not stomach losing to Denver and seeing them advance to Frozen 4. Besides it is tough to beat a team 5 times in a year (LOL).

I'm afraid no one will make the tough decision and will keep all sports and trim the budgets of all sports. They have not shown the ability to make the tough design before. I'm in favor of keeping Women Hockey and cutting as many of the non-spectator sports as possible. But if the powers to be cut women’s hockey to balance the budget I'm fine with it. Just don’t cut the Budgets of Men's Hockey, either BB's, Volleyball or Football. I know no one watches Women's hockey no need to point that out. I think with the right coach and success the fans will come..

No Chance Mn allowes a team from ND to join MN Hight school hockey. I would be more interested in a SD/ND jointed state tourneyment. top 4 from each state. Why to easy to make the ND State tourney now..

We have been in this position a lot in the last 14 years. Normally the turnaround has started at the beginning of the new year, but I can remember a bunch of time were the NCAA's were still in Question this time of the year. I expect this year will not be any different. We will do what needs to be done to get in.

I remember when the REA was being build they were anticipating that the upper bowl would only be used for big draws. i.e. gopher games. That obviously is not the case with the demand for tickets. The Lower bowl was designed that if the upper bowl was empty it would still feel full. It sure feels empty if the upper bowl is empty. I wonder if they were to curtain off the upper bowl and maybe a portion of the lower bowl if that would help for both Women's and HS games. No idea what the cost would be, but think it would help with the atmosphere.

I would bet more fan's attend womens hockey than Soccer, Tennis, Softball, Swimming/Diving and Golf Combined. More national exposure for Women's Hockey and a chance for National Championship. Much more room to grow.

No I didn't mention the Univerity directly. Example last year I would go to Choice Fitness to workout. At the same time UND was playing a tennis match. No one was there except the Student Athletes. They would play all the matches at the sametime and an hour later it was done. The other team would leave. What a waste of money. No benifit to the university. At least with Womens hockey fan's both student and non-students go to the games.
