Not what I'm saying at all, just pointing out the facts. Looking at our schedule before the season it actually looks about right, it just turned out that a lot of the teams we played are having down years. The schedule has 2 home and home with teams within easy driving distance, a cupcake coming back from Winter break, a decent ECHC Team, and a long time rival. Turns out not much room for Error when this happens. Currently losing at home to a bad MN team is costing us the #1 overall seed.

It depends on what you do with the Champion club Fees. If you add the CC fees into the ticket price, the ticket prices this weekend are pretty close depending on what level you are at and how many tickets you purchase. The list price per ticket is like $25/ticket for Season ticket holders. In my mind I don't consider the CC fees are part of the tickets as that is what I'm giving to the university. The $25 ticket price is what I'm paying to go to the game. IMO part of the problem is a lot of the Season tickets are owned by companies and they give them to customers/employees. They budget a certain amount for the year for the season tickets. The games this weekend and next would put them over the budget.

20+ Home UND Hockey games a year. You might only get a chance to see some bands a few times in your life.

Unless Clarkson or St Thomas wins their conference tournament, UND will not have played any NCAA tournament teams in Non-conference. Is this the worse non-conference schedule ever for UND?

What were ticket prices in St Paul? It seems to be more on campus and in St Paul you got 2 Semi Final Games. Also easier for the NCHC to justify higher prices when you need to pay to rent the X, hotels and transportation for 4 teams.

I'd love to see a packed house, but at the same time I wouldn't be too upset to see a bunch of open seats. They are doubling (Semi-Final) and tripling (Final) the price. Hope they learn their lesson.

No shot to beat any team in the field with your C- Game. I don't think you are beating Mercyhurst with a C- game.

Agree price gouging. They moved to campus sites for the atmosphere. This will not accomplish that

Augustana is not the host team. Omaha is the host team. Odd situation where 1 team is hosting in the backyard of another team. correct best scenario augustana is a 3 and we are #1 overall

Fair enough. However he was not the Back-up to Belfour. He was the Back-up to the Back-up to the Back-up. I remembered Brower and Strome being the other 2 goalies. Looks like the 4th string Goalie, I stand corrected.

He came in the year after Belfour left.

Last week they were 100 points ahead of us. That is a lot of extra votes to pick up this late in the season after 1 bad weekend for them. IMO you can take the top 3 and put them in any order and the NPI reflects that. We have a very good chance to get to the #1 overall seed if we can win the next 4 games. I don't really care, but don't understand Western picking up 1 first place vote after only getting 2 points on the weekend. I guess the only explanation would be it came for us and we didn't or unable to vote for ourselves.

Anyone know what the cost is for students? They are definitely taking a big risk charging that much for tickets. I don’t think they will sell out.

I'm sure it won't be long until all teams are doing this? Everyone is looking for ways to generate more income. I remember when it was frowned upon to put advertising on the boards.

ASU and St Thomas are not Blue Bloods. Will Howard at Augustana. Augustana is just as good as St Thomas and much better than ASU.

I was responding to the fact you think Western doesn't deserve a #1 seed because you watched how they played this last weekend. We didn't play the greatest over the weekend. Western also only has 1 regulation loss since the calendar turned. They are a very good team and very deserving on a #1 seed based on the has they have played this year. I expect to seen them a couple more times this year. Hoping for one in GF and the other in LV.

Did you watch our team this weekend. If so I'm not sure we deserve a top seed. I'll gladly take a split and head home with the cup and home ice though out the NCHC playoffs.

I kind of want to see ASU finish in 9th and be eliminated. I have a weird hate for them thinking they are just going to come into the NCHC and dominate with their warm weather and being a P4 school. Also that coach seems like a dink.

UND is 5 up. Holding UND to 1 pt would only leave wmu with 5 pts. So only 4 pts gained and would finish behind UND. 1 pts would clinch share with Denver, if Denver sweeps. W mich needs to sweep UND. No way for UND and W mich to tie now

Would WMU pull their goalie tied late in 3rd Friday?

Alternate between 1 seed from west and 1 seed from east each year. like it that way.
