  1. Speaking of WMU, what happened to those video upgrades they promised?
  2. Wrong thread. Let's try to keep this one recruiting-related.
  3. UNDBIZ

    gas prices

Strikes by refinery workers was part of it.
  4. It's false. He's expected to be back for what is likely a make or break season.
  5. Gotta watch again. It took a pretty crazy bounce off the back of the net.
  6. It's a hole in the wall, but the food is good, especially the wings
  7. Looking for something semi upscale or are you at the point where you can go to a hole in the wall and have a good time?
  8. Only reason I say Blais is they love to give it to coaches whose teams made a big improvement from the prior year AND who outperformed preseason expectations.

  10. Coach will probably go to Blais or Sandelin, just because they like to give it to teams that struggled the year prior. Zane and Mark each have a shot, but I've gotta think Laleggia will beat out Schmaltz for offensive d-man.

  12. I was stating you played him perfectly.
  13. He only canned Muss thanks to some boosters knocking on his door with cash in hand.
  14. 1. The name "Sioux" is what the NCAA has a problem with. 2. It doesn't matter what the descriptor in front of "Sioux" is. 3. The NCAA and, perhaps more importantly, the Standing Rock tribal council don't care about or acknowledge the 1968 ceremony. 4. The NCAA created the "hostile and abusive policy" in 2005. UND would've been exempt had one reservation given timely approval. They didn't (both Spirit Lake and Standing Rock refused to answer). UND would've been exempt had both reservations given approval within five years. One didn't. Yes, this fight has been going on with the NCAA for a DECADE. The fight has been going on with the bleeding hearts within the university for 50+ years. It's time to move on.
  15. And live by the pool in Arizona, drink in hand......
  16. A win over Dickinson St. should secure his position for the 2016-17 season......
  17. "We" FWIW, I also expected a down year this year, but even then I was surprised with how terrible the team looked. I thought the lack of teamwork, rebounding, and an identifiable offense was a symptom of the egos on the 2013-14 team, but apparently it's how Jones coaches his teams to play. Also, evaluation based on conference play? The conference play in which Jones is 52-65 in his career at UND? That conference play?
  18. He's a sub-0.500 coach who will likely be fired after a 10-win 2015-16 season. Hardly a pipe dream.
