I dunno, those arrows the eagle is clutching are pretty offensive.

Per SFI, Addae would be a 2015 recruit.

I got ambitionz az a ridah.

A license plate slogan does not equal official state nickname. Here's the century code you referenced:
-
They've struck down efforts to put it on our license plates. By your definition (that the nickname be enshrined in century code in order to be official), North Dakota does not have an official nickname.

Ah I had it in my head we were playing Northern Illinois. Never mind, it's a return trip from Northern Iowa for last year.
-
Should that be NIU rather than UNI?
-
Well at least it gets a few people (family members) to go to the games.....

I don't disagree, just pointing out that Apple is going overboard.

Yes, offers can be rescinded.

Someone mentioned earlier they were offering more kids early in order to get them to camps (and because they've actually had time to scout).

The Big 12 would never lower themselves to taking a team straight from FCS. They'll poach from a G5 and the G5 may be interested in Fu. Good for them to get themselves mentioned in the blog though.

Title Nine: Our Prong is Bigger Than Your Prong
UNDBIZ replied to Hammersmith's topic in Other Sports
Is this really how they do it? If someone truly believed they were capable of playing D1 in ___ sport, I doubt they'd be paying to go to ndsu and play intramurals. If no varsity women's sports were offered at ndsu, I'm guessing the surveys would then show litte/no interest in varsity softball/basketball/etc. because those interested are going to school and playing elsewhere. -
Good to see a focus on DBs. Hopefully we can land a few of them.

Well at least there's some sense to the process.....

At the time, loyalties were to the state first. There was a difference in belief regarding the extent of centralized power, and the south strongly believed the states should have more power to govern themselves (the 10th amendment wouldn't disagree with them). It could be viewed somewhat similarly to a block European countries leaving the EU today (though the EU hasn't amassed the central power of the US gov't at that time, yet). That said, it makes litte sense for Nevada to celebrate the southern rebellion, other than the west being settled by people seeking a new life far away from that centralized power.

5. Paul Bittner, Portland (WHL): In his third season with the Winterhawks he had 34 goals and 71 points 66 regular-season games after coming out of Crookston High School in Minnesota. Bittner (6-4, 204), No. 26 on Central Scouting's final North American list, had six goals and six assists in 11 games when linemate Nicolas Petan (Winnipeg Jets), who was second in the WHL in assists this season, missed time while playing for Canada at the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship. "He's a smooth skater, really good hands and [can] make plays, and good in tight along the wall," NHL Central Scouting's John Williams said.
