I believe they have similar heaters at Target Field. I don't think you could have enough of them in an outdoor stadium for Grand Forks in a bad November/December.

If they could trade away Hughes and Nolasco for literally anything, I'd be OK with it.

Agreed. Even during the down years, we've still had 7-8,000 people at games. Put the games outside where it's cold, windy, and rainy and there would be 3,000.

It very well may have been by design, but that's a poor design, IMO. There were guys open down field on multiple plays yesterday, Studs threw incomplete or worse to the short well covered receivers instead. I also noticed he was a second late on every throw, allowing coverage to catch up or forcing guys out of bounds to catch the ball and removing the chance of yards after the catch. Hopefully the timing will improve as he gets more experience.

I don't remember a single pass being thrown more than 15 yards down field today by und. That needs to change.

The only reason the Sundogs name is still a part of this process is because it has historically had the support of the small group of people who fought hardest to remove the Fighting Sioux name. The support for the Sundogs name dates back over a decade. Sundogs is not acceptable.

This UC Davis team is tough. A lot of very average looking people.

Commissioners are similar to politicians, they have to get out and "press the flesh" every once in a while. All 3 conference commissioners knew the game was a big deal for both schools. I wouldn't read into it much more than that.
