We have a sophomore at QB. That almost guarantees growing pains. We have a good O-line and RBs. We should emphasize the running game. That would take some of the pressure off of our QB. But Mr. B1G/NFL (Fruechte) obviously thinks otherwise. I guess we'll find out this Saturday which one of us is right.

ASU's goalie gave up rebounds all night on Saturday, but we weren't there to capitalize on them. Jackson didn't bring up being "hot goalied" after Saturday night's game and neither should we. It can get into guy's heads and become a mental issue that is hard to get rid of.

A little early to write off the season. It's not even Thanksgiving yet, for Cripes sake.

At least ASU isn't as bad as LIU and Lindenwood.

Rebounds need to be taken advantage of. Stop making this guy look like a Hobey candidate.

Simplify the playbook for Jerry and emphasize the run game. That will give our sophomore QB a chance to reset, settle down and get back to basics.

I think this team will be okay. Unlike Canisius, this will be at home. Also, this team has a more focused and disciplined attitude under Jackson. We'll win both games and move on from there.

Agree 100%. But I think Schmidt needs to make a change at OC for next season.

Maybe it didn't work out for them like they hoped? Maybe they got homesick? There are any number of reasons why a kid would want to come back home. Not allowing them to play high school hockey after coming back home is depriving ND high school hockey of talent and depth. It is foolish, IMO.

Well, the FCS playoffs are "one and done", so anything is possible.
