I don't want to end up like we were in 1994 when Blais took over. That was a total dumpster fire and I am still shocked how quickly Blais rebuilt it. I don't want to go through that again.

And there were $750K reasons why Bubba wasn't going anywhere. We know what happened despite that.

I am not surprised. People know the reputation this program has for excellence and being in championship contention on a regular basis. And it is obvious that we are no longer that program. And people know this cannot continue indefinitely.

Do they have as nice of a weight room? Nope.

Parity? Denver didn't get that memo.

Some people here have been conditioned to accept playing second and third fiddle to other programs and attribute failure to the absence of "luck". Ralph Engelstad used to say "The harder I work, the luckier I get." We need to get back to that thinking.

Too many injuries on defense finally caught up with the Lions. If they can keep this team together and healthy next year, they will be tough to stop.
