He's been a consistent sub .900 save percentage goaltender in the USHL. That doesn't seem to bode well for the collegiate level.

Hutter is basically starting over from scratch. Schmidt and Jackson at least had some pieces in place when they took over.

Schmidt knows he needs to fix the offense. If he thinks this is a good hire, I am inclined to believe him. If Danny ends up being Fruechte 2.0, I will not hesitate to call out Schmidt AND Danny for it.

I don't think Schmidt would bring in someone that doesn't align with his vision of the program.

Given how quickly Schmidt has turned this program around, I am inclined to trust his decision-making.

That ref should be fired and not allowed to ever ref again. Otherwise, you might as well adopt Roman Gladiator rules.

I think the long term goal is to be playing the best at tournament time. I think Jackson will have them ready for the playoffs.

That was the same UND team that crashed after clinching the Penrose. I don't see this UND team having the same results. I think 4 out of 6 points is very doable.

Montana State was fortunate all those false starts on offense didn't cost them.

I am surprised they don't have a better record.

This UND team will be harder to shut down given all our depth at forward. But like any conference opponent, you can never underestimate your opposition.
