I don't want to end up like we were in 1994 when Blais took over. That was a total dumpster fire and I am still shocked how quickly Blais rebuilt it. I don't want to go through that again.
I am not surprised. People know the reputation this program has for excellence and being in championship contention on a regular basis. And it is obvious that we are no longer that program. And people know this cannot continue indefinitely.
Some people here have been conditioned to accept playing second and third fiddle to other programs and attribute failure to the absence of "luck". Ralph Engelstad used to say "The harder I work, the luckier I get." We need to get back to that thinking.
Halftime adjustments? We don't need no stinking halftime adjustments! Just like we don't need no stinking between period adjustments in hockey! (sarcasm) 😝
