As stated numerous times on this site, it is not just a UND problem. Student attendance is down nationwide. Even at schools that are putting a great product at the field. Student sections at Alabama and Clemson are even struggling to fill seats. It's more than just putting a good product on the field. It's just that college kids these days don't care as much about attending college athletics than in the past. So no, it's not that simple.

If Ketteringham starts over Schuster this weekend, this coaching staff needs to be let go. I don't care if Schusters shirt will be pulled for the season. You have to put your best option out there at QB. And it is obvious that Schuster is that guy. Kett's play in the first half of the Drake game coupled with one of the worst QB performances I have seen at UND prove that Kett is not the guy that should be under center this weekend or for the rest of the season.

So who gets the start at QB next week?!

6 turnovers and we lose by only 2 scores. Cut that number in half and we might find a way to win!!

Not to get off topic, but has anyone heard of any plans to honor the 20th Anniversary of the 2000 National championship team this year? Man it would be sweet to see the team wear some old geometric head jerseys!!!

I think the Chaves/Alerus/etc need to give the students 2 more years to show their support for the program to show that they are deserving of the midfield seats. It's not like it any secret that those sections are far from full, even at the beginning of games. I am sure its not the first time Chaves or the Atheltic Department have been emailed about the student support (or lack there of) at football games. As we all are aware, student support around the country is down. So they need to decide if the financial benefit to moving the students and opening those seats up to season ticket holders outweighs any negative results for moving the students to the corner. I think the Athletic Department should really monitor the situation the next two seasons. Given that we are moving to the MVFC, that should increase interest in our fanbase bringing familiar foes back. for the students, it doesn't mean the same as most of us because we remember playing the Dakota schools year after year. they don't. But I don't think it will take too long for students to get hyped playing other Dakota school rivals, especially NDSU. I think the Athletic Department needs to put the students on notice before next season letting them know that while everyone wants the students to be at the games and to fill those sections, failure to do so may result in losing the prime seats at midfield. That way, if they end up moving the student section to the corners, they should not have much excuse to complain as UND will have the numbers and pictures from the game to show the support they are or aren't showing in regards to their attendance at games.

What makes it even worse is when they wear all red jerseys and helmets!! Not sure how there fans deal with this all the time!!! Thanks God this is our last game there for awhile (hopefully ever). (I apologize for blinding everyone with the ridiculously bright red as well as showing a pic that included the knucklheads from the south!!)

UC Davis having success with the no huddle against NDSU. Would like to see Freunds offense run in the no huddle. Seems to work well.

If Kett is ready to go, start him. If not, use Schuster for the next 1-2 games. I don't mind playing Schuster. Just hate to have him burn his redshirt because Kett is only at 90%. I'd take a 90% Kett the rest of the season for 4 more years of Schuster. He's the real deal.

We play arguable the two best teams in the Big Sky and two of the best teams in the country. Need to put out best players out there to have a chance to win these games. If Kett is ready he should play. He will have more success against EWU.

It's more annoying than anything else. Even more annoying is when you are reprimanded from a fellow UND fan for waring anything Fighting Hawks.

And Kaepernick still siting at home. If he hasn't gotten the clue that he isn't good enough to be an NFL QB now (even as a backup), not sure he ever will.

A school that has a divided fanbase supporting two different names and logos in something that is tangibly hurting UND. If you can't see that, then you are part of the problem.

So if the schools isn't losing fans, money, or ticket revenue, then people are justified to keep bitching about the name and logo because "it's not hurting anyone" right?!!
