  1. Bands are typically at the ends in most college stadiums. Since the Alerus has no endzone seating, they are where they are. Where the band at is about the best place they can be.
  2. Tickets are $25. You can get tickets at the 35 yard line in section 215 right now.
  3. Never underestimate the power of the message boards. MafiaMan and all the rest that jumped on board demanded the Ralph change the banners to "era specific logos" for all it's banners. Took four years but we did it!!! #keyboardwarriors
  4. The NCAA almost certainly will put a cap on how much money an athlete can make each year. Might vary by sport, or might be the same across the board. Either way, they need to prevent schools scamming the system by promising so "Johnny starting Quarterback" isn't promised a $20,000 commercial spot for Al's Car Wash in Tuscaloosa!!
  5. If you converted 213 and 214 for fans to purchase as season tickets, which fan do you think has a better chance of actually showing up? College kids who get tickets for free or fans that have paid Champion Club fees and ticket prices to sit there? I think there are fans that would be willing to purchase season tickets in those two sections. Especially with our move to the MVFC. When the moved the student sections over one section and opened up Section 215, that section sold out of season tickets pretty quickly (at lease the lower part of that section. I think that the move to the MVFC will increase interest in UND football due to the consistent home games against the Dakota schools. Hopefully students start coming to games again when familiar opponents return. If not, it's time to move them. I absolutely think that the ultimatum needs to be laid down to the students saying they may lose their seats if they don't start showing up.
  6. Welcome to today’s America. Pretty pathetic the Big Sky would award this obvious cheater. I am sure every female runner in the Bis Sky is happy for this GUY!!
  7. Look at the title of the thread YOU started. Proof you have zero credibility and are just making stuff up as it goes. Literally NONE of your ridiculous predictions have ever come true.
  8. 5 Dimes has UND as 2.5 point FAVORITES over #9 Montana St.
  9. Football: FCS. Unless landscape of college football changes to the 3 tier system for D1 schools. Then we will be in whatever the second tier is called. Hockey: NCHC. There will be more than 8 teams, but I can't see more than 10. All other sports: Summit League. The Montana's/Idaho's/etc wont join a revamped Summit League. The I29 Corridor of the Summit is stable. None of the Dakota's/Omaha are going anywhere.
  10. Sac St is the real deal!! Crushing Montana!!
  11. Wow
  12. This color guy is Embarrassing. .
  13. So looking forward to leaving these crap production schools in the Big Sky
  14. Out inability to punch it in our last possession a settling for a FG is going to cost us the game. I hope I am proved wrong.
  15. 5 yards a carry. Come on boys. Time to tighten up. Make a stop!!
  16. That guy is driving me crazy. What is it with road announcers lately!!
  17. First and goal from the 4 and JJ doesn’t get a touch.
  18. Ride JJ the rest of the game. He will carry this team to a W!!
  19. These drives are impressive. But we have to stop them on D. Stating the obvious, but the D is really due for a big stop or a turnover.
  20. Was shocked when I saw their home record!! Insane!! A split would be fabulous.
  21. McFeely is a click bait whore. He writes columns to stir the pot. Adds nothing to the conversation.
  22. No one is going to pick up Parise and Suters contract. No way. Koivu is an UFA after this season. I doubt the sign him as he is showing his age. So unfortunately the only one from the people listed that will be gone will be Boudreau. At this rate, I don't know if Boudreau will be around by Thanksgiving!! Maybe Hak needs to get his resume updated!!
  23. Moving forward with the new nickname and logo is a process. Acceptance across the board wasn't going to happen instantly. For some it won't ever happen. But acceptance is the goal. My point is which type of actions go against achieving that goal more; People who make negative remarks about the name or logo or those that call them out? WE are all trying to move on from the Fighting Sioux name. My point is there are people that have moved on and accepted the new name/logo and those that getting there. If you are never going to get there, what purpose does someone have for constant disparaging remarks concerning the name/logo? Reasons may vary, but the result of those types of actions just continues the divide in the fanbase that will likely never end. If you want to say like "here we go again" and "why are you still talking about this.", that is the problem!! This shouldn't be something that we are still talking about. Unfortunately this is the reality UND fans will unfortunately have to live with now.
  24. I don't know about everyone else, but it get's really old when our own fans make petty digs at our name and especially logo and bring up the overused "postal service" comparison. I'd expect it from opposing fanbases, but from our own fans? Come on man. I get it. some people don't like the logo. But don't stoop to the level of what immature opposing fans would say. You don't have to support the name and logo if you don't want to. But is it that hard to just respectfully and silently disagree instead of joining the mob of idiots who constantly make over used, unoriginal jokes against your own school you cheer for? That's all. off my soapbox. Carry on. Go Hawks!
