It will be interesting to see what St Thomas does with football. If they want to really invest in being D!, football is their money maker. Would be great to see them eventually joing the MVFC and play at Alianz Field!!

Davis has struggled recently, but they have a very explosive offense. I think our D will keep them from blowing us out of the water, but I don't think our Kett led offense has enough to keep up. UCD - 31 UND - 21

Unfortunately there is little they can do about the seating location. They messed up by not putting the students at the end when the arena first opened up. Gonan be hard to tell people that have donated thousands upon thousands of dollars to UND and have been season ticket holders for nearly 2 decades that they can no longer have the seats they have been siting in since the arena opened.

If Kett is on a short rope, I think the decision to roll with him or pull him for Schuster needs to be made sooner rather than later.

Wait....I thought the Fargodome was "the best atmosphere in the FCS" and NDSU has "the best college football fans in the FCS if not all of college football"?!! No way this happened at the Mecca of college football that is the Fargodome!!

That is what I propose they should do. As far as I know, student section seats are not sold. If they sold all unclaimed student seats, I think there would be many that would scoop them up.

Students have until 10am Tuesday to pick up their tickets for the football game. After that, the rest go on sale as general admission seats to the public. No reserved seats.

Of course that is well known that you can go sit there when it is empty in the second half. But instead of hoping that people figure that out and move to those better seats in the open student section, why not sell those seats to fans that otherwise wouldn't go tot he game because the only place they can get 6 seats together is at the 10 yard line.

Why can't UND release all the unused tickets and sell to the general public like they do for hockey tickets? Thursday at 10am, any student tickets not claimed by students go up for sale to the general public as general admission tickets. Have a group rate for buying 4 or mire tickets to make it more affordable for families. Sections would remain alcohol free.

I get all non conference games are huge in the PWR. Especially against really really bad teams. My point is if we get a split and the game we win is like a 3-2 win, it doesn't give the team a lot of confidence moving forward. Berry misses the playoffs this year again, the seat is very hot.

Who would have thought a non conference matchup the opening weekend against a team that finished last place in the AHA would be a must win/must sweep weekend!! Not only do we have to sweep Canisius, but these games need to be dominating wins to give us any hope this year is not going to be another bust.

The PAC 12 is going to be really really good come 2023!!

As stated numerous times on this site, it is not just a UND problem. Student attendance is down nationwide. Even at schools that are putting a great product at the field. Student sections at Alabama and Clemson are even struggling to fill seats. It's more than just putting a good product on the field. It's just that college kids these days don't care as much about attending college athletics than in the past. So no, it's not that simple.

If Ketteringham starts over Schuster this weekend, this coaching staff needs to be let go. I don't care if Schusters shirt will be pulled for the season. You have to put your best option out there at QB. And it is obvious that Schuster is that guy. Kett's play in the first half of the Drake game coupled with one of the worst QB performances I have seen at UND prove that Kett is not the guy that should be under center this weekend or for the rest of the season.

So who gets the start at QB next week?!
