  2. Wonder when the last time UND wore white at home?!!
  3. Buddy of mine was at the Fan Luncheon today. Quote of the day! Bubba comes to the podium...”thanks for coming today, just gotta say it...looks like the student section!” Looking at the crowd, you can't disagree with him.
  4. Hand checking always tough to see in real speed. But a fully extended arm and a head pushed back stand out in the eyes of the ref. Very unfortunate call. Definitely the biggest play of the game. We go up 31-20, we likely win this game.
  5. So unpopular opinion here, but setting down my glasses with green and white lenses, it does look like that once Maag and the defender enter the frame, you can kind of catch the end of what looks to be Maag pushing off and creating separation at the 15 yard line. Notice the defenders head. Could have let it go since both players were probably hand checking the whole way down, but the defender selling it the way he did is likely what the ref saw and why he threw the flag.
  6. For games like this where there are many seats for sale, why not drop ticket sales drastically. Seriously, why not sell 10 dollar tickets, 5 dollars for kids. Great opportunity of fans who otherwise wouldn't go to attend a game. Also makes it cheaper for families who want to bring their kids to games but don't want to pay the &25 plus ticketmaster fees per ticket to attend a game in November against a bad team.
  7. There are many reasons not to join the B1G, but one of the biggest is they don't have one site conference tournament over one weekend. They spread it out over 3 weekends. Conference tournaments have been a tradition for many UND fans over the years. Giving that up would definitely be a change that I think most people may not like.
  8. Here's what it comes down to. We should be 7-4 this season. If we lose either of the next two games at home against horrible teams, we don't deserve anything. At 7-4, We have a great win against Montana St, a good win against Sam Houston, a bad loss against Idaho St, and 2 of our loses are against the #1 and #2/#3 team in the country. A lot yet to be determined and the loss yesterday put us firmly on the bubble. But our resume certainly is stronger than many of the bubble teams out there. Loss at Idaho St and the fact that we didn't schedule a 12th game might be the factors that keep us out.
  9. Not scheduling another non conference game i will be a bigger reason for not making the playoffs if UND gets left out. Schedule Valpo at home and take your win. 8-4 at the end of the season would get us in. 7-4 we are gonna be on the bubble.
  10. I get the frustration. Should have had this one. But put this into perspective. We played a game against the #3 team in the nation, on the road, and we should have won the game. Compare that to the last game of the year against N Arizona. This team is heading in the right direction. We have two games left at home that are must win games but games we should be favored to win. Win out and we are 7-4. Definitely on the bubble. But we are putting us in a position to make the playoffs. Although we didn’t win, this team sure went into Ogden feeling like they could know i if the number 3 team in the road. And they damn near dis it. Sometimes statement moments aren’t always wins. Damn proud of this team today win or lose.
  11. I like the call. Keeps them guessing the rest of the game.
  12. The fact that 80% of the team is underclassmen it is pretty amazing they are 9-0. After this win, There is a great chance this team goes 12-0 in the regular season.
  13. Students aren’t coming to the games. It’s a reality around the country at all campuses. Student sections need to be shrunk and more general admission seats need to be made available. Especially for families.
  14. Where are the students? You used to have to stand in line to get seats at the Ralph!! This is absolutely embarrassing and unacceptable.
  15. Plenty of teams would complain. When you have 8 teams from the Valley and Big Sky in the playoffs, all those overrated teams in the SoCon would do plenty of bitchin!!
  16. St Thomas is joining the Summit. It's a done deal. Douple can't say anything till it is official and the documents are signed, but it's gonna happen.
  17. Nothing could beat the Big Dog Breakfast!!!

  20. Bands are typically at the ends in most college stadiums. Since the Alerus has no endzone seating, they are where they are. Where the band at is about the best place they can be.
  21. Tickets are $25. You can get tickets at the 35 yard line in section 215 right now.
  22. Never underestimate the power of the message boards. MafiaMan and all the rest that jumped on board demanded the Ralph change the banners to "era specific logos" for all it's banners. Took four years but we did it!!! #keyboardwarriors
  23. The NCAA almost certainly will put a cap on how much money an athlete can make each year. Might vary by sport, or might be the same across the board. Either way, they need to prevent schools scamming the system by promising so "Johnny starting Quarterback" isn't promised a $20,000 commercial spot for Al's Car Wash in Tuscaloosa!!
  24. If you converted 213 and 214 for fans to purchase as season tickets, which fan do you think has a better chance of actually showing up? College kids who get tickets for free or fans that have paid Champion Club fees and ticket prices to sit there? I think there are fans that would be willing to purchase season tickets in those two sections. Especially with our move to the MVFC. When the moved the student sections over one section and opened up Section 215, that section sold out of season tickets pretty quickly (at lease the lower part of that section. I think that the move to the MVFC will increase interest in UND football due to the consistent home games against the Dakota schools. Hopefully students start coming to games again when familiar opponents return. If not, it's time to move them. I absolutely think that the ultimatum needs to be laid down to the students saying they may lose their seats if they don't start showing up.
