Nashville Fairgrounds Stadium (pictured above) is scheduled to open in 2022. Capacity is going to be 27,500-30,000. I think that is way to big. Biggest crowd with NDSU playing at Frisco was 21,411.

Good!! Long overdue.

Sather is going to get this team back to the Dance. May not be this year, but it will happen. sure it's 1 win and conference play has yet to begin, but in his short time coaching this team, you can already see signs of improvement.

What is WhatitSiouxbaby supposed to mean again?

It’s there Bison’s world and we are just living in it. NDSU is going to win the next 4 with Lance at QB.

https://www1.ticketmaster.com/2020-us-hockey-hall-of-fame-game/event/1B005784BDDD7B4D?landing=c Just looked at the map on ticketmaster to count the see how many seats are available. If you take out the handicap seating, there are only 86 tickets left to buy. (60 in the upper bowl, 26 in the lower bowl). Tickets have been on sale for 10 days. Well done!! Best fan base in college hockey and it's not even close!!!!

I agree that these type of events need to happen in destination/vacation cities. New York, Vegas, Nashville...definitely nailed those locations. Tampa would be a great success especially considering all the fans who went down for the 2016 Frozen Four. Los Angeles and Phoenix could be good destinations as well.

OK guys, I was just kidding with the US Bank idea. Hence the . I do think that all future games may have to be in NHL arenas. Vegas was great but only 7000 people got to go see it. That made the Nashville game even more desirable. Looks like its gonna sell out in less than a week. Nashville is going to be a HUUUUGE success given the amount of fans that are going to be there and the atmosphere of Broadway for 3-4 days. This is only going to make these destination games even bigger! I would say that future games are going to have to be in NHL arenas. The demand now has become that great. Our fanbase is amazing and these destination games have become the staple now of the program. I don't see them stopping anytime in the near future.

Seriously, with the way our fans travel, and just the number of fans for this program we have, UND might as well think big. And I mean BIG!! Schedule a game and US Bank Stadium against the Gophers!!
-
This was 5 hours ago, so likely many more are gone. And don't forget that the student presale has yet to happen, also the general public hasn't had a chance yet!!
-
Don't forget Penn St fans are gonna buy tickets as well. Penn St has an enrollment of 27,939. The averaged over 6000 per game last year. Will definitely be interesting to see how much blue will be in the stands in Nashville.

Thank God these kids weren't on the field/course or found out through social media. Might have had to make a giant stink about how they should keep the program that results in nothing!!

4th in the country in goals per game. Might move up after tonight!!

So....we are good this year I guess.

"At UND, he’ll see decrepit locker rooms and outdated training facilities." As long as this is still true, UND will never be able to be in recruiting battles with the top schools in the MVFC.

Nickname announcement, logo announcement, new President announcement. Name 3 of the most underwhelming announcements at UND recently.
-
Biggest question is have all 3 of these been KEM approved and is Kris on the selecting committee meeting today?!!

Two things that every great football team does well. Running the ball and stopping the run. Until UND can show they can do this on a consistent basis, they will never be a great team. these used to be two things that this program could hang their hat on. Need to get back to these basic functions. Freund can come up with all the double reverse, half back option pases he wants. But until they can consistently run the ball, the offense will never be as good as it could be. And that starts with recruiting bigger offensive lineman. Can't get it done with 260 pound lineman. On the other side of the ball, we need to recruit like we used to to be able to run the 3-4 that is successful against the run. giving up 4-5 yard a carry to opposing teams isn't going to cut it. Whether it is scheme, play calls, or just getting the right guys in there, something has to change. We are at a turning point in this program. Either we make the necessary changes across the board to be able to compete in the MVFC, or we continue down the same road and settle as a middle of the road Valley team that is a fringe playoff team with 6-7 wins every year.

Very true. The UND aviation program helped us win 3 WBB Natty's!!

Looking back at the coaching background of our most recent head coaches, The last 7 coaches dating back to 1968 all had been assistant/position coaches at UND prior to being head coaches at UND. Not saying that many of them didn't have success, just interesting that it's been over 50 years since the coaching hire for UND football has been "new blood" and hasn't coached at the school before. Maybe it's time for a drastic change and hire someone outside the box instead of a former player or assistant.

2 TD’s and we win this game. Let’s go!!!

Losing the battle in the trenches. Our line on offense and defense getting dominated.
-
I want 10!!!

I can’t say this for sure without looking back on the records, but i am fairly confident UND is undefeated when scoring 9 goals or more!!
