  1. Shirts now available online for purchase. 100% of profits go towards Hunters medical expenses. How awesome would it be for for there to be a "PinkeStrong White Out" at the first home game!! https://shopbluco.myshopify.com/collections/graphic-tees/products/pinkestrong?fbclid=IwAR3eEZB_mlyGt_y19kw2XlgSzIj0IrcmUalohfuySeofakoCWpXxyE22Pjw
  2. There is a Facebook group dedicated to Hunter now. Just search for #PinkeStrong. They are going to be selling t shirts with this logo and the verse Hunter picked out that is going to be his motivation thru all of this. 100% of the profit going towards Hunter's medical costs. More information tomorrow on how to order them.
  3. https://www.inforum.com/opinion/columns/4844136-McFeely-You-have-a-future-its-just-not-the-future-you-thought-injured-UND-football-players-mom-tells-him/www.inforum.com/sports/football/4844136-McFeely-You-have-a-future-i -"We were sitting with him and asked, 'What specifically do you want us to pray about on your behalf?' He said, 'I want you to pray for the person who collided with me. I don't want him to feel guilty,'" Katie Pinke said. "And then he said, 'I hope I can meet him someday.” Can’t say enough about the character of this young man. It’s obvious why he is one of the vocal leaders on this team. Not sure what the future holds for Hunter. But one thing I am certain is that through all of this, he is going to be an inspiration and a witness to many. He already is.
  4. Someone repping at the WJC. Sioux jersey and Old Glory. What a combo!!
  5. Someone representing at the WJC!! Sioux jersey and old glory. What a combo!!
  6. Here is the latest update from Hunters mom. Continued prayers needed. katpinke Day two update: Nathan and I are sitting by Hunter's bedside as he rests. For three days, he is on strict bed rest, laying flat, healing from his spinal and back surgery. He sits up slightly 3x daily to slowly eat. He also is keeping up with football scores. His favorite to hear was the Dolphins beating the Patriots today! I also read him your comments, messages, and texts and if you don't hear back from us, just know your encouragement and most of all, the prayers are life-changing for Hunter. After tomorrow's day three of rest, we're praying for more positive progress and have some ideas of the next steps on the long journey ahead. Specific prayer requests: 1. Stabilizing his vitals to allow for next steps in his recovery 2. Comfort and pain management 3. Miraculous sensation in his lower extremities 4. The ability for Nathan and me to get some needed rest tonight 5. His medical team 6. To keep focused on the next thing and not worry about the future. We have more praise than we can list. Hunter has his mind, hands and arms, an ARMY of prayer warriors (that's YOU!) lifting him up for miraculous healing and people showing up for Hunter and our family in so many ways. We don't understand WHY this severe spinal cord injury has happened to our son but in the midst of trying, difficult times we see God's greater plan unfolding. Yes, we are sad. Yes, we want to wake up from this terrible dream. Yes, we want to trade places with Hunter. This is our reality now. Hunter isn't going to run out of this hospital. Something BIG is happening though and we feel it. God can take tragedy and pain and use it for good. When you're in neurotrauma ICU, you see patients and families with much worse circumstances than you. Today two strangers in the hallway asked to give me hugs. They shared their story and I shared ours. If you look for God's love, you find it. It's everywhere. I plan to get more organized in our #hunterstrong journey updates with a blog and FB group soo and will that here when ready. THANK YOU for your prayers, support, kindness, and love.
  7. I don’t think there will ever be a man who loves and supports UND athletics more than Lowell Schweigert. But more importantly, he was an even better person. He will definitely be missed.
  8. What a difference even just a small donation can make. I encourage all SiouxSports members to donate. How bout $36 in honor of Hunters number. Who’s with me?!! #HunterStrong
  9. I have known Hunter since he was a baby and the his mom and family for even longer. I won’t get into the details of the surgery to honor the privacy of the family, but this is a very serious injury and and his dad said, a long and detailed surgery. If you are the praying type, please take a minute to lift Hunter and his family up in prayers.
  10. Alright, you are convincing me. I think this has some potential. Also, there will be a time where NDSU isn't there all the time (hopefully soon). Looking at the location of FCS schools, Nashville is more centrally located for the majority of FCS schools than Frisco is. So the location makes sense. (Which is maybe why the game was in Chatanooga for so many years before Frisco).
  11. Nashville Fairgrounds Stadium (pictured above) is scheduled to open in 2022. Capacity is going to be 27,500-30,000. I think that is way to big. Biggest crowd with NDSU playing at Frisco was 21,411.
  12. Sather is going to get this team back to the Dance. May not be this year, but it will happen. sure it's 1 win and conference play has yet to begin, but in his short time coaching this team, you can already see signs of improvement.
  13. What is WhatitSiouxbaby supposed to mean again?
  14. It’s there Bison’s world and we are just living in it. NDSU is going to win the next 4 with Lance at QB.
  15. https://www1.ticketmaster.com/2020-us-hockey-hall-of-fame-game/event/1B005784BDDD7B4D?landing=c Just looked at the map on ticketmaster to count the see how many seats are available. If you take out the handicap seating, there are only 86 tickets left to buy. (60 in the upper bowl, 26 in the lower bowl). Tickets have been on sale for 10 days. Well done!! Best fan base in college hockey and it's not even close!!!!
  16. I agree that these type of events need to happen in destination/vacation cities. New York, Vegas, Nashville...definitely nailed those locations. Tampa would be a great success especially considering all the fans who went down for the 2016 Frozen Four. Los Angeles and Phoenix could be good destinations as well.
  17. OK guys, I was just kidding with the US Bank idea. Hence the . I do think that all future games may have to be in NHL arenas. Vegas was great but only 7000 people got to go see it. That made the Nashville game even more desirable. Looks like its gonna sell out in less than a week. Nashville is going to be a HUUUUGE success given the amount of fans that are going to be there and the atmosphere of Broadway for 3-4 days. This is only going to make these destination games even bigger! I would say that future games are going to have to be in NHL arenas. The demand now has become that great. Our fanbase is amazing and these destination games have become the staple now of the program. I don't see them stopping anytime in the near future.
  18. Seriously, with the way our fans travel, and just the number of fans for this program we have, UND might as well think big. And I mean BIG!! Schedule a game and US Bank Stadium against the Gophers!!
  19. This was 5 hours ago, so likely many more are gone. And don't forget that the student presale has yet to happen, also the general public hasn't had a chance yet!!
  20. Don't forget Penn St fans are gonna buy tickets as well. Penn St has an enrollment of 27,939. The averaged over 6000 per game last year. Will definitely be interesting to see how much blue will be in the stands in Nashville.
