  2. You really believe that?!! WOW.
  3. It's just amazing the response to the Corona Virus compared to the H1N1 in 2009. I am not saying the Corona Virus isn't something that shouldn't be taken seriously. Just the response to both given the number of people affected is shocking. To date, 938 people in the United States have been diagnosed with the Corona Virus with 29 deaths. Back in 2009, the number of people in the United States infected with the H1N1 virus was 100 Million with 75,000 deaths and 936,000 hospitalizations. Does any one remember anyone saying in 2009 to cancel events, play sporting events with empty stadiums, and people reacting like they are today? Just seems odd that the hysteria in 2009 was not even close to what it was in 2009 with numbers that blow this viruses numbers out of the water!
  4. It was a rough game to watch. When it was 9-0 I think most of us were in a little bit of shock but knew that a little run would get us back in. Once it went 21-2, it was basically over. The bison were shooting lights out in that first half. Especially from 3. They were making everything even after we played great defense and contested most of their shots. they just couldn't miss. Didn't help that our boys came out extremely flat and looked like a deer in headlights that first 8 minutes of the game. Last year the Bison won 3 games in 3 days. there is a reason why it was the only time that has happened in Summit/Midcon history. Cause it is tough to do. Fatigue definitely played a factor in the game. But the bifggest factor was that NDSU is simply just a better team. there is a reason why the won25 games this year. They are a great team that makes 3's, makes their free throws and has a stud in Shahid and others that can make shots when they have to. Silver Lining: UND Basketball is in good hands. Listen to Sathers pressers during the tournament and you will be convinced he is the right man for this job. We played ok during the regular season but Sather got this team up and had two great wins in the Summit Tournament to reach the Championship game. I don't think anyone would have predicted that even a week ago. This program has the ability to be top 3 in this conference every year and playing in tournament championship games consistently with the expectation of going to the NCAA Tournament every year. I think the best is yet to come for this program and look forward to it.
  5. University of North Dakota student student tests negative for COVID-19 https://www.inforum.com/lifestyle/health/4991776-University-of-North-Dakota-student-student-tests-negative-for-COVID-19
  6. We play our worst half of the season. Bison play their best half of the season.
  7. Let’s take care of business boys!! Go get it!
  8. So basically, if you are under 60 with no underlying health conditions, chances are you are going to be just fine.
  9. Definitely cheering for the Lady Yotes in the tourney. Have a chance to make a deep run this year.
  10. Clay Matvick with the call tonight on ESPN2. Clay Matvick is from Princeton, MN and grew up went to High School with.........Paul Sather!!
  11. UND playing with house money. NDSU expected to be in this position. Not many people thought UND would. But you damn well know that Sather thought they could be here and he convinced the team as well. The pressure is all on NDSU. they are the 1 seed. They had not looked dominant in either one of their games. UND has shown they can beat the Bison. If we play relaxed and confident, we got a chance. With a trip to the big dance on the line, our boys should be ready. It's been a crazy year all over college basketball this year. Upsets almost every night. So why not have the 6 seed punch their ticket to the dance out of the Summit!! Go HAWKS!!!
  12. This rivalry has had some great matchups in different sports. This ones gonna be one of the biggest to date!! Gonna be a good one!
  13. Assuming the Ralph sticks with "era specific" banners that have the logo the team was wearing at the time of its championship, this will likely be the banner next year hanging with the other Conference Championship banners.
  14. Up to 2 now. Also, Bison only a 1 point favorite over #4 Oral Roberts. Have the Bison been exposed?!

  16. It's a 2 year extension. Not 7. If UND finishes towards the bottom of the Valley the next two years, then you can fire him. LAst year we were undefeated at home and made the playoffs. If that's mediocre, I hate to see what your comments were like during the last 2 years of Mussman!!!
  17. ICON released the pics last year. https://www.iconarchitects.com/planning/und-athletics.html
  18. FCS schools in North Dakota have a combined 9 Conference Championships, 12 playoff appearances, and 8 National Championships this past decade.. And UND is a part of that.
  19. Not sure how I stumbled on this, but I found the site for Schmidt Athletic Floors. They do court designs and did mock ups for several Universities that they state on the site "some of them are brainstorming ideas that push the envelope of court design and others are final renderings chosen by the school." I recognized a couple floor designs o the page of renderings they did. https://scfwi.wordpress.com/designs/ Now they used the Fighting Hawks name and website on the designs. You would think that UND would have had to give them the rights to use the fighting HAwks logo to mock up a design and be willing for the site to display it on their website. This makes me thing that this was a company UND used to help them design the new court design for the Betty until the REA decided on the current "North Dakota" design we have now. Who knows. Maybe I should take my tinfoil hat off, but just seems odd these designs exist.
  20. I’d like to believe that. But losing 2 games to #35 in the PWR and then #41 or #42 in the PWR has to affect our ranking just a little bit.
