I can't imagine how much interlocking ND stuff that the Sioux Shop and other stores have. Can't blame them for trying to sell it and get rid of it before that logo is officially retired. Obviously it appeals to people who don't like the Fighting Hawks logo. Much like the Sioux merchandise, people will stock up on interlocking ND merchandise. But eventually, all you will be able to buy will be Fighting Hawk merchandise. We will see both the Sioux logo and the interlocking ND logo for many years to come. However, it is noce to see more and more Fighting Hawks merchandise out there.

Probably one of my favorite beers!! It sucks it is only around for a limited time. Maybe that is what makes it better!! Their Two Hearted is one of my go to beers!!

No chance. We are a 16 seed if we make it. Unless some 3 or 4 seed or lower seeds with worse RPI than us get in, we are looking at the play in game if we make the tournament.

If we sweep St Cloud, and then beat Duluth and Denver in Minneapolis, I would think that would boost us up pretty high.

Had Eastern Washington won at least a share of the Big Sky Championship, Hayford would be a shoe in. Now I think its about 50/50 for Hayford and Jones.

Pretty easy formula. Win 2 games against St Cloud this weekend, and win at least one game against UMD, Denver, or WMU in Minneapolis and we are in.

In the past 5 seasons since being in the Big Sky, UND has finished in the top 5 in 4 of those years. Winning the Regular season this year. UND has reached at least the semifinals of the conference tournament 3 of the past 4 years. UND won the regular season title this year. Sure Jones has a horrible non conference record. But in a mid major/one bid league, it's all about the conference play. That determines byes and seeding for the conference tournament. Only thing that non conference determines is what your seeding will be based on your RPI if you make the NCAA's. That being said, I am not giving a free pass to to what Jones has (or hasn't) accomplished in non conference play. But looking at the Big Sky results, and given that they just won the regular season title, I don't think Faison can justify firing Jones. Make the NCAA Tournament and there is zero chance!

It is nice to have that in your back pocket. Will be nice to not be playing in the CIT this year!!!

Sidenote to east of the river: If you thought Centrals performance was dominant yesterday, the Green Wave may have outdone them. EGF beat Bagley-Fosston 7-0 and outshot them 60-0!!! Yeah you are reading that right. EGF did not allow a single shot on goal!
