2 questions... 1. Did UND put the bid in for the Sanford Center in Sioux Falls? Or was it a closer school like Omaha? 2. Does the NCAA allow a school to be a host 2 years in a row?

We may see a secondary logo down the road, but I don't think it will be for awhile. UND is working on brand recognition. And having one and only one logo right now is the best way to increase that. I agree that UND should adopt a secondary logo. A ton of colleges out there have multiple logos for their athletic teams.

The current turf was installed prior to the 2013 season. We join the MVFC in 2020. I would anticipate the Alerus waiting until then to install new turf. Still relatively new. Hopefully when they do replace it the 3rd times the charm and the Alerus decides to put in a midfield logo that IS NOT the Alerus Center logo but the Fighting Hawks logo.

They are already taking steps in preparation of the final numbers. Only reason why no one is talking about it is because eliminating jobs and departments isn't as exciting to write about in the papers as dropping sports.

Agreed. If UND were the 3 time defending Frozen Faceoff Champions as opposed to having a 1-4-1 record, the opinions of most would most likely be different.

For those wanting this game at the T-Mobile Arena, you may not have to wait too long to see a college hockey game there. There will be a Frozen Four in Vegas and I wold not be surprised if it was as soon as 2019.

Programs will be cut, people will lose their jobs, and departments will be significantly reduced at NDSU. But that's not as interesting as sports getting cut at UND, so no one is really talking about it. Including the Fool-um.
