    STUDENTS BEHIND OPPOSING GOALIE !!!!!!! Get the greek houses Buy or sponor the suites above them. Now it's a party. That drives up demand for the rest of the suite sponsorships, opens more prime ice seating for season ticket holders, pacifies the center ice suites. Greater atmosphere, potentially higher revenues. Use those revenues to invest in on ice projection

    Looks like Northstar Christian announced a few West Fargo kids leaving with numbers there, is the 3rd high school team still happening? If so does it destroy competativeness as bad as it did for Bismarck?

    The demographics in Bismarck are just changing so much that especially for the affluence needed for hockey today. BHS just isnt ever going to flourish with numbers again... who knows probably a Century-BHS-SMHS someday... and someday may be 3-4 years from now.

    Yeah in Boys no co-ops for Century or Legacy BHS co-op with St Marys GIRLS BHS co-ops with Legacy Century co-ops with St. Marys Kids that go to Shiloh play for the public school district in which they reside... but very very few shiloh kids play.

    Hearing more dysfunction in the dumpster fire of Bismarck high school hockey. St. Marys BOYS hockey players are now suddenly forced to play at Bismarck High going forward, instead of the district in which they live as was the case in the past. Stripping more current and future players from Century, and none from Legacy... Now the co-ops are BOYS: BHS-St. Marys / Century / Legacy GIRLS: BHS-Legacy / Century-St. Marys Sounds like this was all done very much under the table and those effected were not involved and are not happy about it.

So anyway as I was saying... Wish we could give ya spot but..." In actuality is probably, "Here's 100k and a Canadian Junior team spot, you're going to Brandon.

    sounds like ND High school hockey lost a few incoming kids to 16u, and 18u tier 1 programs out of state, since the signings havent been announced yet I wont name but... some talented kids wont be in the high school league

    It is actually. The wachter arena is nice, but schaumberg isnt all that great and cant be used at all in spring summer or fall, but they don't use wachter in the summer enough either, they for some reason they use VFW2... which is embarrassing and makes no sense cause its hot as hell and the ice is slush plus the ice plant system in Wachter is a complete lemon, which is what you get when they go with the bottom of the barrel Pamida special. Mandans Starion complex is without a doubt the best facility in the Bismarck/Mandan area.

    Bismarck ice arena update.... sure seems not even a blade of grass or a tablespoon of dirt has been moved for this project, nor has anything including regular maintenance happened inside the current facility to indicate the internal improvements will happen. Rumor is: School system and park board are waiting on the rumors of someone putting up a private ice facility so they can back out of spending the money on the 3rd sheet at VFW... (which is a terrible plan, forced into a terrible swamp of a location anyway) What was promised as one season of really bad ice availability is going to stretch out years longer. (Many have been vocal implying this was the intention all along....)

    As stated no. And construction is not as of yet started on the 1 sheet bandaid. Appearently that is the old dump and ground is not able to support development, or any resource we need, like a baseball field to practice on. Its suitable for dogs to crap there, and thats it Appearently. Im hoping it works out but the skeptic in me thinks its a way for the NDHSSA to say "see we told you state hockey tourneys dont work out west" and never consider Minot for boys state again

    Shame they skimped on a few things to bring it under budget. I'd have cut a few massively underperforming teams to get a few more machines. After womens hockey was executed they had to bring in a women's team to continue to comply with title IX in facilities provided for female athletes.

    The thing is no matter what when a net is empty the skaters on the ice have to take a little something off of the aggressive play to respect the empty net and play a bit more conservative and carefull. Exactly what happened. Next people have to understand the volume of ice being occupied by a 6x5 there isnt more room to work with and defenders can be agressive in closing spaces and gaps. Just statistically, analytically, and by timing, sense of the game... in every way an absolutely terrible coaching move. Everyone of those players should let him know that he took their game away from them, and run him out like in varsity blues. Let them give it their all and play it out, but when he did that he stunned his players. And it cost them a chance....

    And rightly so. 100% a fireable coaching move. Love Bubs, but if had pulled that !@#$ I would have led the lawn tractor parade of snowshovels and potato forks to run him out of town. Just stupid. Tops Bubba on 4th down for sure.
