    The CCM NIT team will be a darn good team this year, and likely next as well. Lots of scoring ability and solid D. I believe they've won the thing for the last 2 years and I'd expect them to compete quite well again.

    The assumption stated was und not getting in, Holy cross winning the AHA tourney, having already knocked off the perennial powerhouse AIC. and as it sits now... if RIT was the AHA winner could be the 15 and UND the 16... that wouldn't happen as UND would move up more with 4 wins but.....

    It's a good showcase. It's a smart showcase. Between this and a camp UND has put on in the spring It's brought a lot of very high end potential recruits into the building that maybe don't usually get the chance. It's something the coaches haven't got a lot of credit for implementing, but it's a good thing g for the program.

    Haven't seen much of anything, Publicity is something that I've noticed Northstar is very VERY bad at. Frankly both Northstar and Sioux Falls programs are horrendous at social media and publicity, or even having a basic website which is shocking to me. Most Bantam teams in the Minn-Dak have better socials. For how much it costs to send their kids there is amazing rheres not more marketing around the programs and their players. Which is a shame because I think there's some really talented kids there and in Forks this weekend. I believe NCA lost to Bishop Kearney yesterday... two top 20 teams in country in the 16U world.... and not so much of a peep of publicity...

    It was the worst atmosphere imaginable for a very entertaining game. The use of basically smooth jazz elevator Musak played at times made it feel quite clinic like. This tournament should basically never be in the Ralph. It's not some special once in a lifetime deal for these kids to "play on the UND" ice. At this stage they've all played here, been involved with camps and tournaments here. It's not special, it's not worth the vast emptyness and massively inflated costs to parents, spectators and NDHSAA. Rotate the thing between Minot and Fargo.

    It's just a shame cause there's outfits now that do a spectacular job. PSP does a spectacular job, BEK does a good job, I'd bet Midco can pull it off as well. Heck, the Fargo South/Shanley student game feed is better. Although, The SCAM that NFHS pulled on the NDHSAA is a horrendous product. The real advantage to these other outlets is the stream to the YouTube channels that allow such ease of use on smart TVs, Roku, Firesticks and Apple TVs. State wide TV (for 3 games) on a marginal network is "neat" in a 1989 type way but it's completely disrespectful to the student athletes and nothing but a money grab for NDHSAA. The static cam no announcers BS from WDAY is atrocious and embarrassing.

    Devil is in the details on the "coverage" once again.. Sam Goetzinger will handle play-by-play. Former Fargo South coach Dean Wilson will be the analyst and former St. Cloud State defender Rachel Herzog will be the rinkside reporter. All of the consolation games, including the third- and fifth-place contests, will be streamed on Forum Communications websites, but will not have announcers calling the action. Just an absolute embarrassing situation for NDHSAA and WDAY to put out there. Not only do you have to pay for most games they don't even bother with Play by play. What a disrespectful joke to ND High school hockey. But those fuktwats at NDHSAA will just cash the check without even worring about what this word "hockey" means in the memo line and sign on again for another year.
