Yes ... Id put the line on this game at UMD by like 4 each night, with crowd under 50% capacity. UMD will only seriously struggle with staying away from their cousins at the afterparty.

Philly ownership fired the assistant GM, stated on the advice of Hak fired a long time assistant coach AND stated that no additional personnel changes would occur in the near future... 2 possibilities IMHO.... 1 they have more faith in Hak than we think or 2 Queneville declined the offer.

Technically yes but that stat also doesn't respect the overall coaches body of work for career either... technically Hak has longer tenure than Babcock.... Babcock has a bit more experience in the National league.

I know a hell of a coach who will be looking for something to do in the near future..... has a place to stay in the area.... high level of tradition and focus that the program needs.... Bubs can concentrate on being the recruiting guy again.... Shaw can concentrate on GTFO of here again.....

The environment of athletics and spectator engagement is IMHO, heading towards a dramatic correction. This may also coincide with a coming economic crisis/correction, If it’s tough to gain spectators now the attention and available disposable income is going to be severely impacted. Places like GF may weather better than the places with so many other available options... such as the cities.... UMtc needs to correct the fan experience and expense in order to compete with the attention of all the quasi pro teams.

A 3 time cup winner is what is needed to push the jets into true cup contention... but it diesnt happen this year. It will take one more playoff exit by Winnipeg this year and one more abysmall and dream destroying season for chicago before they actually start dumping the big names.
