  1. After all the updates, Taj Rich and Cheatom are still listed on the roster. Looks like maybe they're still around.
  2. Or so the left wing media would have us believe.
  3. I think we should schedule one every year, as I think the advantages, such as exposure and a nice financial boost to the budget, outweigh the disadvantages, such as the threat of being blown out. Utah, Washington, etc., are fine, but I'd much rather see us schedule some Big 12 teams (closer to home than the Texas schools)..
  4. It's great that the BSC is having their annual meeting at UND so that, amongst other things, they can see what fantastic facilities we have (and will have). In a way, it would have been nice to have had the meetings at UND next year so that they could have seen the IPF nearly finished and the new $130 million (?) Medical School under construction.
  5. That's two potentially decent quarterbacks (Riddle and Palandech) that we've lost from the 2013 class, so I'd imagine Bubba will attempt to bring in two QB's in the next recruiting class to give us some depth the following season. Not thinking a dropdown unless neither Bartles nor Mollberg prove themselves this season.
  6. From what I've read on Gopher Hole, it sounds like the kid we got from Minnesota could be a real difference maker on defense the next three seasons. Could be a great get.
  7. Gotta make sure we get the Bison on the schedule again next season.
  8. One of Bubba's assistants came from U. of Minn.; that is probably the connection.
  9. Oh, yeah; forgot about him. Wonder if Palandech will give the two favorites much of a run; haven't heard much about him.
  10. I think it's just four: Bartels, Mollberg, Hanson, and Palandech.
  11. Just came out in the Herald. Lots of changes at SU.
  12. FIFY. Ever hear of the Fighting Sioux? They're in the Frozen Four this year and only lose 4 seniors .
  13. So far, so good, I think, and I don't believe we're quite finished, yet, either. As you've alluded to, all things considered, especially the late start that the staff got, on paper, at least, this class has exceeded expectations.
  14. Feeling much better about our defensive backfield with the jucos and incoming freshmen that we've recruited. We have a lot of inexperience at the linebacker positions, though, and still a lot of questions with respect to the defensive line.
  15. This kid knows how to hit and has great pursuit, not to mention pretty decent speed.
  16. Nice one, Daryll; you had me going.
  17. I'm with you, also. Coach Dodson has been building this program up to where we're competing well this season after stepping up from the Great Western to the WAC (6-3 conf. record so far, despite no actual home games, unless you count the 3 games just played in Bismarck). They should only get better, as most of their key players are underclassmen. The strength of the team is pitching, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the team make a run in the conference tournament for the auto bid.
  18. Dumb question, but who's TH?
  19. I'd have to say that they broke them out tonight.
  20. Hope you're right. Boy, do I hope you're right.
  21. No inside info, but am guessing at least one of our 3 injured will be good to go on Wed. That would greatly alleviate the depth concerns. If two of them are good to go, then we should be fine.
  22. That was one of the most disgraceful calls/no calls that I've ever seen. The official ought to be reprimanded for missing such an obvious, and potentially crucial call had there been more time remaining, not to mention the fact that it resulted in injury.
  23. Thanks; that jogged the old memory. BTW, I see that No. Colorado did to So. Utah today (77-52), at So. Utah, what we should have done to them Thurs. night.
