Very impressive. We'll see how it translates to the FCS level. Would like to see him redshirted for a year, but with our lack of playmakers, I don't that that's going to be possible.

I know that highlight tapes are just highlight tapes, but I was very impressed. Aside from Hardin, he could turn out to be our best playmaker since Dressler/Chappel.

Gotta give the offensive line a lot of credit, too. We rushed for 297 yds. against a first place team. Very happy for Garman, too, rushing for 235 in his final home game and the most for a UND runningback, according to the announcers, since Chappell in 2006.

Thanks for starting this thread. He's a senior that definitely deserves some kudos. As you mentioned, he's had very little playing time the first three years of his career and probably had as much reason to quit as anyone, but had the character to stick it out. Had he quit, he never would have experienced the success that he's experienced so far this season. I think there's a lesson here for anyone thinking of quitting anything, because you never know what might be just around the corner.

Would guess he'll be out of spring ball for sure, and hope he's good to go by Aug. 1.

But that's also when it's least expected.

The IPF, coupled with the new coaching staff and the beginnings of on-field success, is going to be a real game-changer on the recruiting trail. Perhaps we're already starting to see that???

With the football program starting to turn around, I'm thinking that the giving toward Phase II may start to pick up. It would be nice to get an update on how much has come in since the last update and how much we still need for completion of both Phases.

If so, that's a shame, after all the effort he's put into getting back from his injury two years ago. Not to mention, he's one of the team leaders.

Was including Ferguson on my list, too. Not sure what his injury is or how serious, but, needless to say, it would be great to have him back next week.

This bye week couldn't have come at a better time with, by my count, 8 players out with injuries, at least two of whom are outfor the season (Ruhe and Woodsmall). Hopefully, we get 3 or 4 players back for Southern Utah; not too optimistic about either Simmons or McGill, though.
